I don't think anyone would dispute that Imp. MotW would be a great thing to have...
...the only problem is that there are so many fantastic feral talents that it's really, really hard to spare those two points!
Best solution is to just find yourself a balance or resto druid and make them cast it.

Nevertheless, I don't find a huge problem with taking 2 points out of
Furor
and putting them into
Improved mark of the Wild
. I think it is a small price to pay, and plus, you are not going to be shifting out of form when you are tanking in a raid. The only point to have furor is to get that initial 10 rage right before every battle, but why not get a 60% chance to get that 10 rage (granted you might have to shift a couple of times before every fight...) I just think it is a small price to pay for a buffed up MoW that you do not have to rely on someone else to provide.

Could anyone explain how druid tanks get def capped purely from talents? I've had a look at the tree and I'm still quite confused.

Survival of the Fittest gives us 6% crit immunity. The cap is 6% (roughly. I know it's not quite that but for this demo it'll be fine :P)
So putting 3 points into SotF means that defense gear is only good for dodge :) Not saying that you shouldn't take tank gear with def, they have good stats aplenty for us.
I think that's about right?

Anyone notice that at lvl 80 OoC barely ever procs? I found it a waste of a talent point now, Kinda sad.... when hardcore farming for matts it procced for me once every 4-7 fights... that is LAME. And it doesn't look like it's getting fixed in the next patch... I guess it's just ANOTHER druid skill made useless by blizz :( sux

To become crit immune v's a raid boss (i.e. lvl 83) you need to reduce the chance you will be critically hit by 5.6%. With 3 ranks in the talent
Survival of the Fittest
you have that covered with 0.4% to spare. This means you dont require a single point in Defence or Resilience to be crit immune in PVE any more.
Thanks for the clarification guys!
