Oh, I've solved the mount probelm:
Either they wrap their tail around the mount completely
Or, they have their tail hanging over one end, then it comes back up and drapes the rest of the way down over the other side. Kind of like riding side-sadle.
If I was a horse and some giant snake thing slithered and wrapped itself around my torso then hissed in my ear to get moving I think I would probably fall over dead.
Don't horses not like snakes and tend to brutally stomp them whenever they see them?

lol i say they add dancing curtains as a class while they are already at it. they should focus on balancing the game first:P and what classes will naga be able to plaay? and burning legion?
I think the games as balanced as its gona get, and read back a few posts if you wana see my class ideas.

Undead horses have no fear :P
and I personally don't like the the idea that they coil around the torso, I like the final idea in my original comment.
Besides, this is WoW, anything can happen.

We're WAY off topic. Let's stick to Naga.
Now, I could see the classes working as such.
Warrior, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Warlock, Priest
With the expansion, the class limit might rise and include new races and even classes. This'd increase the total class count. Upon this, could be added shamans, though If they ever readd priest racials, Forked lightning could be one of theirs.

Yes, I can see them being shammys, but warlocks? These's guys may have been allied with the Burning Legion at ONE point (see War of the Ancients) but they're not anymore, I can't see them as Warlocks. Palladins would be a better choice, and the Alliance could get a new shammy race (that same race would have druids too). everything else looks like it fits.

You've connected lore and everything very well. But theres one problem, when would they put in nagas? Nagas have absolutely NOTHING to do with wotlk, nor what is accused of the next expansion (Emerald Nightmare....Ysera is alrdy in dragonblight); and what would they do with the alliance, just leave them w/o a new race?
They'd be put in the "Naga" expansion (can't think of a name for it) that would feature the world of Nazja'tar that I've devised and Azshara as the "Arthas/Illidan" focus of it.

I don't want this topic to die, but other than the idea I linked earlier, most Naga ideas feel a bit flat.

one word, Vykrul, i mean in the big cinima for DB the Vykrul are like the elites for arthas, so why cant a small group of them break off and swear fealty to the alliance/horde? i mean it wudnt be that hard to do...
Its something that I read along the lines of a problem with Ogres, they're too big to fit in some buildings. And Vrykul are even bigger
And a Blizzard employee said something like: "There's not a need for Ogres to fit into those buildings because they arn't ment to. This isn't Everquest."
If I find whatever it was I'll post a link.

As you can see in the Undead Forsaken description "Freed from the Lich King's grasp", when that << happens they return to their condition of "humans", except for the decaying flesh.
The Horde accepted in undead because the horde is pretty much an alliance of outcasts
, hunted by the Alliance.
Now that's just not true. The original horde were the orcs. The trolls joined their ranks because Thrall helped Sen'jin save his village from rampaging naga led by a crazy sea-witch. The orcs and trolls then helped the Tauren travel trough the Barrens, and defended their village against the centaurs, thus Cairne Bloodhoof swore to aid Thrall. The Undead are the only real outcasts, well, were, since now they are a part of the Horde. There's an explanation for the Blood Elfs, I just can't remenber exactly.
How about this:
Horde: Ogres
Alliance: Those Walrus Dudes. (or pandaren, but apparently not going to happen)
Two things. The "Walrus dudes" have much more in common with the Horde. And the ogres are already a part of the Horde, they're just not playable.

What about the Tauren and the Bloodelfs? Besides;
Dreanei: Lost their homes twice
Humans: Lost their homes more times then I can frigging count
Gnomes: Besides the fact they're ridiculous, they've also lost their homes.
Night Elves: Lost Ashenvale to the Legion, the Well of Eternity to their own stupidity, and Hyjal to a large explosion.

And the Horde is also a minority if you compare them to the Alliance.
A minority? Sure, the orcs got their number greatly decreased when Gul'dan decided to go to the Sunken Isles, but the humans also got their number equally decreases when the scourge came.

The undead weren't with the Old Gods, they were killed and ressurected into undead by the Lich King who mind cotrolled them to kill in his name.
As you can see in the Undead Forsaken description "Freed from the Lich King's grasp", when that << happens they return to their condition of "humans", except for the decaying flesh.

Well, Anord realized what was going to happen to them if they stayed allied with the Old Gods, Azshara was too inamored by their power (probably wants to sleep with each of them), so Anord had to do his best to get away, and take anyone that would belive him with him.
And you say that the Horde is full of Outcasts? Well the Splinterscale are now the Outcasts.

Can't tell if there was anyone vouching for them to join allys, but I'd jsut like to remind u all that the Varian is Racist, and unless the Naga got a recomandation from some other Alliance member, and I don't think the Night Elves are any more forgiving, esspecially against Azshara.
The only reason the Draine were accepted is because (lore-wise) Jaina accepted them.
Its in Rise of the Horde (a book) I'll re-read it and correct this if I'm wrong.
