tbh, the problem why DKs are OP, comes from resilience and such things. any1 wondered why all casters sucked and all melee were greatly OP a bit be4 resigear came up? wellh, I rly knew that when casters get resigear, they will be balanced along other classes. BUT. when DK gets resi, it's great armor, spellcasting and so on and so on... none other class can mitigate magic AND melee in same unlike DKs. So: I am a feral druid, going catspec, (no longer pwns DK :/) means this: when I am in catform, he does melees so i lose a ^&*!ing 6kdmg/each strike even with my +700resi. then i jump bear, it's spellcasting does instant-instant-instant-instant with each +1,5k dmg uncrit... wtf! what can I do, bear could work but problem is that it doesn't do enough damage against DK, cuz it can selfheal for around 45% hp with blood tap. another classes needing nerf, are survihunt (does way too much dmg for such survivality) and frostmage's freezing should be nerfed a bit, but just a bit, cuz I think "finger of frost" talent is gr8 to fix this, frostmage does same dmg as if the target were frozen, when it rly isn't! wohoo bliz wake up, and hire me or someone that rly knows what's going on in the
World... (of Warcraft)
Blizzard has succeed very well on all other classes, except DK, making theyr pvp and pve damages balanced, but here, I see DKs always on last places on dps meters in raids, they're great tanks (yeah, only thing we want DKs to game) and ^&*!ing up pvp. improve pve dmg, (ONLY FOR BLOOD SPEC) pvp dmg and survivality, has either of them to get nerfed (UH ONLY) and frost, make it tank-only spec. thx ba

For 2, you are being carried by a resto sham, and you are a dk with a 1935 rating. I'll tell you right now, Taynlord will last a whole lot longer against your colossal skullclad reaver that your shaman against my crappy Inevitable Defeat.
You can't see my gear, because, oh yeah, I'm holy at the moment. I spend my time in RL and grinding 3 toons over one toon with a FotM RNG with 2 pets, way more self healing, blah, blah. You get the idea.
I think, oh yeah, I did mention I don't play with a healer.
And if you can't find my armory, you aren't looking hard enough.
I've never hit 2k, and maybe won't ever. The reason? I play underdog teams, because they are more fun to try to master. That and I got horribly tired of 20 minute matches with priest/hunter teams in S3 at 1800.
Edit- Forgot to mention. On vengeance, Akama, jubei'thos, mug'thol, and korgath are all pretty insanely progressed servers. Our battlegroup gets filled with a ton of hateful/deadly geared toons quickly, and it becomes hard to even get out of 1700 rating.
Try getting out of 1800 on our battlegroup. You will be disappointed if your shaman isn't insanely skilled.

I think you ment "no understanding", but this just goes to show how little you know. Yes, it's magic, or "disease" (specifically) damage.
What you fail at, is that haste(see

) combined with sub 100 strength(it's not a horrible weapon tho), and the low max output of your weapon really lowers the burst potential.
This, combined with the fact that your spells are modified by attack power, makes it a bad weapon for DK's, but probably the best you are going to get for now. I'm not sure how progressed your guild is. But if you must know, AP is your best friend. Haste, is not. For my build/team, haste is actually good, but not good to seek out as it won't be that big of a benefit.
What everyone seems to be missing is a Deathknight is a cross between a warlock and a warrior. Just like a pally is a cross between a priest and a warrior. You can bubble, heal, BoF, do amazing burst damage, and you wear plate.
I can dot, self heal a little as I do damage, have a pet that doesn;t hit that hard, wear plate, ans slow people.
Yes, and I'm actually really glad that they nerfed the extremely overpowered fear portion of your aoe. That was just retarded.
As for the rest, your self heal is bigger than paladin self heals, but less reliable. At the same time, If I just use my AoW procs, I will end up healing more, if the fight isn't an instant nuke fest.
After losing to multiple DK teams last night, we finally found a strategy to killing them. Focus them first actually works really well. They go "oh shyte" and blow their shell and all their cd's. Then we cc him, burst the healer, and gg kite/kill the DK while I try to swap to my holy gear. This is also assuming his healer isn't really good at kiting.
My armory is in ret gear now, so you can go look if you want. It's amazing that the nuke quality of the build I'm in right now is better for arena than a more survival oriented build. Just by a spec change and new meta, I am now doing near the same burst as the mage, while before I was only doing 2/3.
For you, I would suggest possibly swapping your 5 gems based strictly on survival for better nuke gems, but that's your choice. You can put any gem in a prismatic, and 6 stats is horrible compared to 16 strength or even a crit gem.

Well, I wouldn't call DKs op, but they are a nusiance. I play a warlock, and yes they are extremly hard to kill, epcially in arena if they have a healer. But that can be said about any class really that is in the hands of skilled players. The problem with dks is they are pretty easy to play.
Any class can beat any class, but some classes are extremely to beat for other classes. Its just the nature of the game.
The exception to that rule is the rogue vs lock. Locks cant win against an equally skilled rogue unless they get extremely lucky, or if your demon circle is set up somewhere like in a tree. For arena locks have no chance, unless the team mate(s) either kill the rogue or stop it from killing the lock. If anyone should get a nerf its rogues, but they only have buffs coming in the future.

Rogues are not OP, the mutilate nerf fixed their burst substantially, now the only people dying in 100-0 stunlocks are crap skilled and even worse geared. Yet we dont have even half the mitigation dks do or the amount of health they do or even the armor they do. So yeah, I think its fair rogues can whine about an actual OP class.
Well of course the rogue says rogue is not OP.
