I'm now a junior in High School and I guess it's time for me to start looking at schools. MSU came to my school yesterday and their band played for us. They were pretty cool, but they didn't have any male flutists. :(
But anyways, what do you guys think are some good colleges. I need ideas, because I'm totally lost as it is.
/sigh
Laihendi has only ever known 2 male flutists, and he suspects one of them was homosexual.

I'd love to ignore this, but I can't.
Who cares?
Playing an instrument has less than nothing to do with sexual orientation.
Sexual orientation has less than nothing to do with anything except a few issues of civil rights in America.
End of discussion. Don't be juvenile. Don't be a bigot.
LOL
You're calling Laihendi a bigot?
1. Learn to take a joke.
2. Laihendi is a guy and is always fantasizing about Elijah Wood.
3. There is no need for a 3.

Take a year off! Go traveling and I don't mean Outlands. Sweden, Europe, something. The rate of college dropouts escapes me but I do know that it decreases if you take time AWAY from school and decide what you want to do with your life before spending $30k+ to go to college. Very few people actually know what they want to do with their lives at age 18.
I'm partial to Stanford (in my backyard) or any other school that has something going for it- again, it depends upon what you seek to learn, Good Sir!

Should have gone to a mediocre high school and slid by with a 3.0 like Laihendi is doing lol.

Oh @#$%.. just remembered that article in Newsweek saying Laihendi's high school was ranked somewhere in the 70's for the whole nation... Laihendi is screwed.
