Ah, but real is a meaningless term when speaking about contingents.
By real I mean a restaurant dedicated to serving only a certain type of food. McDonalds does not serve pizzas because it is a (cheap and worthless) hamburger joint. The same goes for estaurants of "nationality". I dislike going to an Indian place and seeing them serve pizza or hamburgers. If I wanted pizza or hamburgers I would have gone to one of those restaurants.

That's the thing of which you are measuring the angle.

I.e., the magic box.

I can't tell you how much pain your post caused me.
I would have gouged out my eyes if my glasses weren't in the way.

Alright, well need to explain the process of making one in steps... and I still have no clue how to do it, aside from "tie weight to protractor". Even Google has failed me now.

Print out my aforelinked (yay, new word!) protractor, preferably on a rigid sort of paper (or tape it to a piece of wood or plastic to make it more sturdy). Then attach the string to what would be the center of the circle (if it were a complete circle), and attach the weight to the other end of the string. Now you have an inclinometer.
To use, simply align the flat side of the protractor parallel to whatever it is you are measuring. With the round side down, the string should line up with a certain degree measurement on said protractor. Record it.

Actually Hyper, I meant e.g as in ex gratia,
I.e.,
''voluntarily performing an act purely out of kindness''.
I was simply informing everyone that I was making the post out of sheer kindness and for no personal gain.
I thought you were good at Latin? :P
I do believe
ex gratia
is abbreviated
ex. gr.
, but I can't seem to find the rule anywhere.
