I'm not sure whether this is hilarious or deeply offensive. Probably both.
E: Picture isn't working. Just look at the page photo here:

Remember that discussion about people 'whining' about mass effect 3?
"Hurr I am entitled to decide how a game/movie that I do not own should be durr." I just don't get that kind of people.
"I paid good money for something I was told was going to be x, I instead got y. I am reasonably pissed off about this."

And the developers, rather then giving a real answer, just spew standard internet responses.

Basically, what Milayu said. People who go like that and demand their money back / the game rewritten for them. Kind of like the opposite of constructive criticism.

Oh and Azazel, I see you've posted in Wowhead Feedback before.

forum
that I do not own should be durr."
Huh? Forum? I don't know what you're referring to here.

He's pointing out the hypocrisy of making a statement like that.

Ohhhh, like that.
Posting in feedback like a request or something for a feature is constructive.
Saying this site should be locked down because I hate the looks of it would be hypocrisy.

tl:dr of my point of view on the subject: As a paying customer, it is complete within my rights to complain about a product if it did not meet the promises of the company that sold it to me or my reasonable expectations of quality.

This ^
In fact if anything I think they have more of a right to complain because they're paying customers.
Do I have more of a right to complain about the forum, then? =D

Aye...of course, that's why I don't have uber expectations of games, movies, tv shows or music anymore lol.

And that's a problem. Bland, repeated mediocrity should not be the standard in any industry, especially entertainment.

How? I've not heard of people saying all copies of the game should be destroyed, which is the closest thing to shutting down the forums.
They didn't like the ending and have asked for an improved one.
You didn't like a feature of the forums and asked for an improved one.
I see no distinction whatsoever. In fact if anything I think they have more of a right to complain because they're paying customers.
Meh, whatever.

I agree...but I mainly do it because I know I can over hype stuff in my mind, then when the actual thing comes out, no matter how good it is, won't live up to what I built it up in my head. It's like FF12 and 13; look at all of the people moaning and complaining about how the game wasn't like this or that(both games have flaws but a lot of the vocal stuff was that it wasn't like *insert other Final Fantasy title*)....but as actual games on their own? Beautiful, with solid story lines, good fights and interesting mechanics.

I stay as far away from media as possible, just so I can see the game as it was made, not as it was hyped for this very reason. I find I enjoy a lot of games a lot more this way.
