It happens.
It's unfortunate. Nothing to do but read manga and listen to crappy dubstep.

I just read
this
article on CNN. I <3 smartass cops:
The woman told police that the child frequently unbuckled his seat belt, CNN affiliate KUSA reported.
An officer asked the mother if the child also frequently grabbed a gas can, buckled it into a car seat and then buckled himself in a seat next to the gas can.
The woman, the affiliate said, had no answer.

It's evening here so no good morning for ya sir.
Considering the fact that there are 24 different time zones I never have said "morning all" to recycle bin just because of that
You're right. It's much better to lurk and watch for other people's friendly posts so you can slam them for not being universally appropriate to every time zone when they are made, than to come on and drop a "Good Morning" on unsuspecting people just sitting down to lunch. I mean, what would the world come to if people just let pleasant greetings go by unfettered, or responded nicely, rather than making sure to take the opportunity to make questionably appropriate unneeded corrections?

I get deeply offended when people are polite, but in the wrong timezones. I mean,
what the hell is wrong with them?

I am working with logic here, and saying "good morning" is the rude one because you ignore the fact that other people are located on different time zones, maybe they are awake at night, maybe they are having their lunch, who knows.
Clearly. Makes perfect sense, as you can see from the tone of the responses you garnered.
In fact, I'd also like to take the time to say good morning, good afternoon, Merry Christmas, Happy Easter, Happy New Year, Congratulations on your New Baby, Happy Birthday and have a great Cinco de Mayo! Feels good to lay into someone like that- very cathartic!

And yet......dozens of people say good morning/afternoon/night here in the Bin all the times. Drop the logic and use the courtesy, and your life will be happier.

I guess I'll never say "Thank you" again either because someone in Estonia might've just been the victim of a robbery at the exact same moment.
Wouldn't want to say something that doesn't apply to 7 billion people!

And don't say have a good day, because what if they're not going to. So rude.

That would be a disaster. That's why I always go for the "Haha, have a bad day, F you!", just in case.

This is a forum, many here are from different nations, continents, if this was a forum based on a specific country or continent I wouldn't mind someone saying "good morning" to everyone else. This forum unites different people from different places and time zones, so think about it and don't ignore that we are not your neighborhood living next to you
I agree- clearly, there is nothing so offensive as a well-meaning greeting in a public place that doesn't take into account that everyone within earshot, or who might read it, isn't in the same time zone as the person saying it, thereby completely negating all good will in the comment, and allowing those people so wronged to be justified in heaping on verbal condescension to the person who dared to greet them.

Oh and with the logic of yours, if someone says good morning isn't rude too? Because what if they are having a bad morning wouldn't be a disaster too?
See, when someone else says it even you have to make fun of the logic.

I hate it when I take a billion years to paint something and then when I'm done I don't even like it.
