I just remember my Pokemon Silver "dream team" that was the envy of my 4th grade class =P Feraligatr, Gyarados, Lugia, Scizor, Tyrannitar and Slowking. It was awesome.
Did no one just get a Raichu? Jesus.
I learned my Tyrannitar Earthquake to deal with that. But yeah, that was a weak point lol.

So, this week I remembered to toss VBA on my jumpdrive along with Pokemon Blue, Yellow, and Crystal. I've had a fairly amusing week at work so far lol
On blue, I just finished Celadon gym and I'm sitting pretty at level 25-30 on all of my Pokemon, with Wartortle being my highest currently. Yellow, I started the game, but haven't really done much, because I already have an in progress game on my phone. Crystal, all of my pokemon are about level 20 and I just finished the 2nd gym, with my main one being Cyndaquil.

So today we started in physics on charge and electromagnetism, and the teacher explained why a plane wouldn't be affected by lightning because it wasn't grounded. I hadn't been paying much attention because I'd read the recommended reading before the class that no one else had and already knew most of the material, except for this particular fact. Something bothers me, but I can't put my finger on what. Then it hits me. I yell out "
WAIT A MINUTE...
" and the class goes silent and everyone looks at me. The teacher asks "What?" I yell out "
THEN WHY ARE ELECTRIC ATTACKS SUPER EFFECTIVE AGAINST FLYING POKEMON?
" The entire class bursts out laughing and I got kicked out of class for the rest of the period (was only about ten minutes to go anyways.) It was still worth it because now everyone thinks of me as that-guy who always thinks of awesome stuff on the spot and probably has an MLIA or whatever because of it, and it's pain could not relate to the pain that I'd been lied to my whole life.

I remember when I started in Sapphire....Used one pokemon, Zubat...I ended up with a lvl 46 Crobat (I did use some other pokemon) that got it's ass handed to it by the elite four. I restarted in shame.
My current top is a Crobat, and he kicks ass.

I can't believe I haven't seen a single Charizard. Guys, come on! CHARIZARD IS THE BEST! Charmander was the bomb from the beginning and will always be the bomb! The reason why the tv show sucks is because they stopped showing Charizard now. If he was used in the battles after that Ash would win every single time!
People don't run Charizard because the most effective build for it is the "BellyZard" (Belly Drum into physical sweeping) and because Stealth Rock will absolutly wreck it. He's not in the show anymore because Ash starts over fresh in each region. The thing never listened to him anyways, so it was a crapshoot whether or not using it would help or not.
And the reason the show sucks is because it didn't grow up with the 90's kids, but rather opted to stay childish.

I managed to get a 21-streak in the simple single battle subway with a team of Chandelure / Metagross / Milotic.
Milotic is
so
badass.
I was also thinking of making a weather-themed team for the double battles. Off the top of my head i am thinking of Tyranitar to whip the sandstorm up, and then Excadrill, Swampert and Garchomp. Yeah i know Tyranitar + Garchomp are cheap choices, but hey...

Hey, I hate to bump an old thread, but I really need help. I've been trying to get an ExtremeSpeed Dragonite on SoulSilver, but I the Daycare people made it forget the move when I was trying to breed one with the right nature... ;_;
Does anyone have a male ExtremeSpeed Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite that they can breed? If so, I'd really appreciate it a bunch if you could get a male baby Extremespeed dratini that I could use for my own breeding purposes... :\
