I was fishing on the coast of Darkshore, in a pool of fish (forget which). Anyway, just as I fish it dry, a person /yells at me "You *****, you stole my ****ing fish!" from the docks. And then followed me around Darnassus. Spewing profanity.
I didn't see him, and I apologized. Didn't mater to him. Remember kiddies, it's just a pool of fish.

They need a way to pvp your own faction. plain and simple . You start to fight for a node a rogue pops up. You cream said rogue kill all mobs and start mining. Rogue then cusses you and you report him where he gets baned.

How about this...bit of an AH story.
I had quested for awhile, found myself with 10 stacks of mageweave. The price on the AH was sitting at around 11g bid, with about a 12g buyout.
So i list all of mine at 9.90g bid, and an 11g buyout....except one, which i listed at 9.90g bid, and an 111g buyout, jsut to see if someone would click it without realising.
And someone did. And it must have been accidental... got an in-game message from him, asking for the money back...
Not sure what I'll do just yet...
Keep the money, they were foolish enough to buy it.
While it was a little tricky, the wow tips on the loading screen say something like "Bid carefully".
also with buyouts you get a message who appears you wanna buy 110g or something if i am not wrong?
Anyways was his own fault for not looking so you are not entitled to give back anything.

I have had so many people get $%^&y with me for requiring money for enchanting. No, sorry, I am not a charity, if you want an enchant from me you will have to pony up some gold as well as your own materials. Just because there's a pile of retards out there paying you for their time doesn't mean I'm one of them, or that I will lower myself to their level.

So you'd be fine with someone else getting paid for your work in real life then, right? Non Sequitur, ahoy! If we both see a dollar on the ground and you pick it up before me, I will not pitch a fit. I'll be sad I didn't get the dollar, but oh well. As such, if I'm on my herbalist and someone beats me to some tiger lily, I will also not cry about it. I will wish I gotten there faster, but other than that, I will not care.

Bah, what's the big deal, he took a node. There is much worse things going on in general chat than mining a node.
It's not like the other person got nothing - they killed some mobs, possibly one epic dropped on each of those mobs. That person obviously overreacted.
I don't think I ever got overreacted on. I did once rolled need to de an item because I thought no one needed it, and everyone kept greeding even though we agreed I'll de items. Turns out the item was needed by a hunter, I won, he got ^&*!ed, but what could I have done? (well now that I think about it, I should have opened a ticket, but didn't know than, and no one told me). But he didn't overreact, just yelled a little, which was fine.
Taught me a lesson in offering to DE crap, I'm now quitly sitting there, and whatever blue's I get I de after the run.

It does follow. The person mentioned in the original post was fighting off mobs near the node. He was doing work to get the node, work that the person who took the node would have had to do if the other person wasn't there. It does not follow, because you're making a ridiculous parallel. Everyone has CC now, if the rogue was smart he would have just sapped/gouged the mobs and mined them in the 8 seconds that they'd be unable to attack. Not everyone fighting mobs next to nodes is of that profession either, and to assume such is dumb. Again, this is more like two people seeing a dollar bill, and one person picking it up first because the other is tying their shoe. You wouldn't follow that person around saying "you owe me that dollar! I would have had it if it weren't for my shoelace!"
Well, maybe you would. You'd be as dumb as the guy in the OP, though.

A Drood is auto-joined thanks to the LFG system, and I promptly say, "Feral?" He flips out and yells, "How rude are you? I just joined!" I calmly just told him I was just wondering and we needed a tank, he says it's no excuse for rudeness and I tell him he is overreacting about it. He leaves and messages me for ten minutes about how rude I am.
I found it entertaining and by the time I actually replied to his spam, I was already on ignore.
I giggled.

I was waiting for the night's raid to start and decided I could grab a handful of of Timbermaw rep along the way. I stopped in Winterspring and did a lap through the furbolgs, slaughtering them for the beads and rep and getting my quest done for the Wintersaber Trainers at the same time. Halfway through the village some 54-ish guy whispers me wanting to know what my problem is. I hadn't even seen him yet and I don't respond to random whispers so I ignore it. As I'm doing my run up the hill towards the chief he tries again with a string of profanities, what is your problem again, stop killing everything, etc. I must just have a relaxed server because I've never seen anybody get so worked up about a couple mobs that'll respawn in a few minutes, and at this point I sure wasn't grouping with the guy so he could (most likely) get his quest done. Finally I finish up and dash back down the hill, headed for quest turn-ins and to give the area a break so the guy can get whatever he needs done. As I'm leaving the area I get one last whisper that made me grin.
"You missed two, you twerp!"
It's all about catching flies with honey rather than vinegar. If he'd asked nicely I probably would've responded and told him what was up, maybe even grouped so we could both profit from it. But if he's going to be ignorant and shout (well, whisper) about it, I don't feel compelled to tell him what I'm doing or stop to assist him in any way.
