Nordigo - I'm not really sure what you're trying to tell me to include . . .
This is awesome. The Draenei one is my fave, because that's my main, and they are the best race. Ever!
But you should really include the Tirisfallen for the human's bio, stuff like how Agewynn was the first female tirisfallen and she killed Sargeras in his physical form, Sargeras gets into her baby (Medivh) and corrupts him. This is important because the orcs only got onto Azeroth because of him. That is the only thing missing from this.
Thanks, I had already thought of that, I'm just not really sure how to tie it into the rest.
Spelling error; I think you meant 'where'.
Fixed and thanks.

I don't want you to include much anything. Just pointed out stuff that I felt like needed adressing.

Great post, Queggy. A lot of good information here that I had no idea about.
A couple things though;
The Darkspear Tribe was a small tribe of Trolls living in the Echo Isles relatively peacefully, until one day they were attacked by an army of Murlocs being controlled by a Sea Witch.
The Trolls came from the Broken Isles, not the Echo Isles. They left with Thrall TO the Echo Isles.
Also. Thrall's father is Durota
n
, not Durota

I really dislike the "tips and tricks" to playing each race. They're stereotypical, horribly restrictive and many don't make sense.
First, how do they not make sense?
Second, of course they're stereotypical. They are tips designed for someone new to RP. A veteran should already know who, what, where, why, and how they want their character to be.

- I think you should post a little bit about the Scourge (if you can). I, for one, like to role-play as Scourge, and if anyone else out there wanted too I think that they should have a bit of back ground.
- Just a suggestion.

This thread is for the playable races. If you want, you can suggest that to Sagramor who has a thread about other races.

Mmhh, in one part you mention about Tauren TEACHING they way of the shaman to Trolls and Orcs, maybe I misunderstood, but i'm pretty sure it was the other way around. The orcs were enslaved by The Burning Legion and one of the reasons was because of their very powerfull shamanistic powers.
Nice thread btw, really good.
Wow, thanks. I have no idea how that ended up in there, I know better . . .

Nice thread you going on here Queggah!
You could also mention the Taurens were the first druids, taught by Cenarius himself. Just a thought.

Well ACTUALLY... I'm not sure if this was retconned later, but at least in WC3 Tauren were shamanistic, as were trolls - altough it could be argued that
ancient
Troll shamanism is a mix of alchemy, Voodoo and worship of animal gods rather than the one practiced by Tauren, Draenei & Orcs - and today, by many Darkspear Trolls, that of working for and with the Elements.. Orcish traditions of shamanism had nearly been extinguished by the time of the Third war, only the small group of Frostwolf Clan remaining knowledgedeable of the art, and these were the ones who taught Thrall initially in the ways of shamanism. So I'd say it is quite correct that Tauren if not taught the other two races in the ways of elemental shamanism, at least vastly contributed to their shamanistic culture.
