This QQ-train really needs to stop, It's one page, it helps pay the bills, and it's only on the main page, all of this has been stated above and before. I just want to point out that I've seen plenty of adverts for other MMO's on worldofwarcraft.com, it happens.

I first saw this and went WTFLOL? Now, while I agree that the ad itself is ugly, that's more Warhammer's fault than Wowhead's. I was mildly nerdraged to begin with, but logically this is a good move. I mean, WoWhead provides a MASSIVE, accurate, evergrowing database that imo is better than any other WoW DB out there. Not only that, but normally, I hardly ever notice the banner adds, they're not overclogging the site. This site is (normally) clean, crisp, and appealling, and my favorite thing about it is that I have never ever had a virus/adware/spyware/keylogger attack on my computer from here, unlike some websites *coughthottbotcough*. They work hard at this, and if they truly didn't care, why have a feedback section to begin with, much less post back to the community in it.
As far as the size and look of the thing, Companies pay sites to show THEIR ad, not what WoWhead says it should be, but what the company paying them for it wants. If this does draw some users from WoW, then so be it. To say that WoW is the end all be all of MMOs ever is silly, as far as I see it, it comes to simple terms for me.
Wowhead needs money to keep awesome site up, Warhammer has money, and are &!(%s, but pay WoWhead to host their ad, (and a lot of it by the looks of the thing), and in the end, which is soon, Warhammer ad is gone, WoWhead can be better, people get over it, and maybe WoWhead staff can get a nice bonus for all their hard work. Imo, they deserve it.
I just wish I didn't have to see it.

I write this post then go to bed, when I wake up, I see all these QQ...
I made this post to be laugh a little, not to start a QQ fest!
1) WAR is not a crap game. It is not WoW, but it is not crap.
2) Advertising on Front page is good (and I noticed you fixed the problem with the ad going over the account setting options and the PTR link)

I came to this forum to complain about the annoying, stupid, enormous site skin advertising warhammer. I wouldnt mind a tactful ad, but the front page is now 3/4 about warhammer and 1/4 about wow. Problem is, this is a wow site. Or was.
This website is not a filial of WoW or an advertising post for WoW. It is a database about a MMO, which happen to be WoW.
You would prefer them to advertise for a company that rent condo in the mountains?
I prefer by far an advertise about a MMO.

Gold selling sites are more relevant than this. Oh wait, Wowhead's advertised those, too! My mistake.
Are you suggestion Wowhead were intentionally advertising them? Because I can remember when ads were turned off completely, since gold ads had infected the ad agencies wowhead uses & getting them removed was turning out to be a major pain in the rear.

@Mr427: Wowhead doesnt disrespect Blizzard or WoW at all. But you bring a good idea about asking Blizzard to put their derived product advertise on here.
