Considering Blizzard has now said that they will implement lots of little patches to update changes rather than hotfixing things, i would like to suggest a few things to change for the hunter class,
Deterrence - Please change the radius to 180, we do like the strife after all! In addition, If we can't attack while it's on, maybe turn it into some sort of reflective Shield? Im pretty sure that would act as a true deterrence. base the damage given on Weapon damage.
Sniper Trainer - Can you please change the refresh on this thing? it is horribly inefficient in PvP and PvE. Make it refresh every second after the 6 second duration, not every 6 seconds after the 6 second duration. Its a great idea and a brilliant buff, but i move way, way to much in PvP for the actually buff to be useful to me
One more crazy idea, which is probably silly haha.
Arrow Tips. Allow us to make arrow tips, just like a rogues poison. You gave rogues misdirect, give us there poison.

I love this idea--it really is closer to what the archer class is in a lot of other rpg type games. When I started playing wow, I was confused by why we used mana (though I see it makes the game a lot easier for them to set up) but a marksman isn't really a magic-user to me

I don't think poison on an arrow would be very ideal.
We have Stings already. Jeez.
Just make it so arrow tips add extra damage, and make it so ammo is "infinite (relic slot)"

I was thinking that the stings last or only effect certain shots. Something like your next three shots, a bit like misdirection. It only applies to multi shot, arcane shot and steady shot.

I agree that deterrence needs a buff because its practically useless since we can't do anything apart from move while we're in it. Giving it a reflective ability is a good idea imo but not for too long otherwise we'll be OP and ppl will QQ till blizz nerfs it to some crappy useless ability.

Sniper training is part of a standstill raid dps spec. Don't take the talent if you're gonna pvp because the whole point of it was for a standstill spec.

I like this idea. Greatly helps with kiting. I know that we have other movement impairing abilities but imo they're not good enough for a class that must kite.
yay! we have stings! i absolutely forgot!
One is now total crap in PvP (Viper)
One only provides some DMG (Serpent)
One also useless in current PvP environment (Scorpid)
TALENTED!: One who sleeps target for 6(PvP) 30(PvE) seconds (Wywern)
Practically we have one sting, witch only provides dmg and one talented wich provides CC...for non-survi only 1/3 stings is good (in PvP of course...in PvE Viper provides nice MPregen and every tank will thank you for scorpid sting)
Serpent is superior to wyvern because of the following reasons:
It is possible to keep it up at all times
It procs LnL
Is a major part of MM hunter's dps because of chimera shot
Increases steady shot dmg if you have the glyph for it
Noxious stings buff adds dps
See how serpent has so many benefits compared to wyvern?
Scorpid sting is very useful for MM hunters because of the disarming effect chimera shot provides
Serpent sting does not proc LnL, Black Arrow Does.
and my idea for deterrence was that for each hit received from deterrence 50% of maximum weapon damage would be dealt.
To counter this, Melee and what not only have to go past the 180 degree mark to hit us without getting damage. It is a deterrence. you have to make the choice weather or not you hit witht he off chance you at that angle or you wait till you no your behind us

Case in point......Snipers are not supposed to move, if they did they wouldn't be "sniping"
Granted, but once we gain the buff its not like a sniper looses concentration for a 6 seconds period then gains it again. It should refresh every second Once the buff is gained until we move. Once we move, we must then wait 6 seconds in order to proc it again. It makes logical sense.
