Hello! I'm a Retribution Paladin and I love doing BG's and Arenas. Atm I'm with a Disc Priest in 2v2. But, he says that I do too low damage, and I think he is right. The other ret pala in the team does insane damage, even though we have almost same gear and spec. The priest told me to make some more key bindings to make my rotation faster.
I use Seal of Command and Judgement of Justice.
Here is my armory:

I will change my enchants/sockets to AP/Crit instead of Resi/Stam.
I need to do more Damage, but just can't see how.
my questions to you:
1: How do I get more DPS?
2: What is hit cap in PvP and do I need it?
3: Spec/Glyph?
But please focus on my DPS, I don't want this to be a discussion on my spec :D

1. You should always get gem's for str and AP. If you are the same geared as the other pally he has more lucks on his crits/hits. To have your dmg big you just need alot of AP/crit.
2. The hit cap for PvP is 5% bonus from hit rating. You dont need it but it helps vs rogues, classes that have alot of dodge and tanks (tanks are sometimes in arena).
3. Take the spec you like. Glyphs i prefer, glyph of crusader strike, judgement and SoC.

Yes my priest spam mana burn all the time. And I am getting the trinket in the next WG battle. I'm considering using Seal of Blood and stop the recoil damage with Sacred Shield. Righteous Vengence, isn't that a kind of PvE talent? ^^

Seal of Command is why you're doing less damage than the other paladin in your team.
Use seal of blood.
Always gem for pure STR.
(IF YOU PVP)
Hit rating cap is 5% but dont worry about it.
