Look at this picture, please.
This picture has more in common with you than that picture does with Jesus.
If I were to say it were you, you would call me retarded again (THAT HURT ME BTW, THAT HURT ME DEEP), but now that picture that was edited is of Jesus? Uh, no.
If, for example, I were to take the picture of an ape, and put a human face on it and say that this is your mum, would you not find that offensive? obviously, it was picture of not your mum, made into a picture of not your mum....
If you said it was my APE-GOD-mother, then no, I wouldn't.
Your analogy doesn't work cause they aren't saying it's Jesus or a sloth. They are saying it is a sloth god. Not your or anyone elses sloth or God, their own sloth god.

It's a merging of 2 different quotes. I don't remember were I got "Sanity is just a limitation" from, I only know it was one of the great philosophers. "Blessed are the madmen, for they hold the key to secret knowledge" comes from a book in Oblivion telling about the cult of Sheogorath. Something not unlike this one ;-)

Speaking of religion, I'm glad that lately more people are realizing its a huge joke. I heard someone today make a reference to the flying spaghetti monster to his buddy, and then I came over and started talking to them about the pirate-global warming theory and we had some good laughs, and it was overall pretty enjoyable. Honestly, I just despise those who make serious references to religion, and like I said earlier, am glad that more people are seeing reality.
