DK kiting for Gluth?

I did my first 10 man Naxx tonight. We were standing at the begining of the tunnel that leads to him, when I hear the raid leader call my name out on vent for kiting. I immediately said no way, but then changed my mind and said I would try. Too late though, the hunter and the shaman are assigned to it. Well they failed pretty bad from what I can tell. As soon as decimate went off, a zombie would be in my melee range. Needless to say we wiped and our group kinda fell apart.
Now I keep wondering if I could have done the kiting myself. I have a frost PvP spec with
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=49203
and
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=50043
with
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45800
and
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45806
. I thought about it so much I even made a spec I thought would be helpful for it since I have the dual spec
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZRgx0cMG0fuZsgG00cbxcqM:NT
.
So my question to the more experenced raiders is would any of these talents and glyphs work? How about the spec? Please try not to flame me too hard. I have just starting raiding and just wanna be able to contribute as much as possible to the group.
P.S. Keep in mind that the only thing i was going for with the spec is movement slowing ablities. I know that is in no way a good spec for anything else.

Dont think its worth to respec and renew glyphs for one fight only, Mage, hunter is the best job for em
Anyway thats just an openion...
Your probably right about that, but I already have a PvP spec with those talents and glyphs I linked. It's not the spec I linked in the post at all. Lol come to think of it I don't have HB talented in that spec, so the glyph would be worthless anyway.
Ok so forget about the spec. And for the sake of this post lets assume we don't have a hunter AND a mage. I just think some good use of the movement slowing abilities and DnD to grab the aggro would be a good subsitute if we lacked a better kiting class.
I still appreciate your input and I hope some others will give some thoughts and advice

Seeing you have chillblains, if you can manage to get FF up on all of the zombies and renew it vigoursly then you might be able to pull it off by yourself.
I jumped in once during out Naxx-10 run and kited the chow when our hunter died at ~30%, using taunts, UB and DnD I manged to keep them on me, but i had th help of a Earthbind totem :>

You do have the key talents that a DK would need to kite the zombie chow there.
Gluth has been a big problem for my raids when I'm tanking with my DK because when I went as my Healadin I'd be the kiter and so now that I'm sitting in front of gluth it falls to somebody else to try it and we haven't found someone yet.
Morbidity will help you tons... just keep DnD up as much as you can over the center grate. A lot of the time when I end up getting caught for a hit or two by one of the chow it is when I have to double back to try and snag a freshly spawned zombie because I wasn't close to the grate when consecrate runs out and I don't have my own slow buff to give to the zombies. So your ranged threat builder in DnD is perfect for it. Howling blast would be ideal to spread your slowing effect but chains of ice can work just as well although you might have to use pestilence every now and again to reapply to all the the chow. The great thing is that you can also stay in Frost Presence for increased threat and added mitigation and health while maintaining the unholy speed buff.
DnD the grate, do what you can to keep frost fever on all the zombies through chains of ice and Pest, save Hungering Cold for emergencies or when the decimate happens to trap them all momentarily to give the dps a second to turn around. You will mostly likely still need a healer dedicated to you unless you can maintain the slow effect on all the zombies without getting caught, which is harder to do when there are more of them.
One of the times we had a successful gluth when I wasn't kiting we had a deep unholy DK just using his speed to keep ahead of the chow. You're enhanced frost fever definitely gives you an added advantage over that.

Thanks guys for the advice and such. I'm starting to feel like I could really do it if I had to.
Keeping the things Nystali said in mind, I went ahead and made this spec instead
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jf0MZMgx0hrIobuiost0gG
. My only question about it now is what about Virulence? I'm just under the spell hit cap with it talented in my DPS spec. Will DnD benefit off of it? I'm not quite sure how that works.
Other than that I'm feeling pretty good about it. Depending on how things work out I may ask to give it a try tonight when we go back.
