Over the next few weeks I will be soloing outland heroics, mainly because I can't find anyone to help me with them, and if i do it solo i will be getting 2x the gold. From what I've found I'll get around 150-300g just randomly picking a heroic.
I'm in Decent feral PVP gear, looking forwards to getting a tanking trinket such as
Defenders Code
I had it but unfortunately I Vendored it So will most likely be getting it back from a GM sometime soon.
Essence of Gossamer
would be my next choice followed by
Offering of Sacrifice
.
Build:
Feral Tank
Gear:
Feral PVP
With a decent tanking trinket like the above mentioned I'll just blow everything on the boss and I'll most likely have no troubles.
What is the highest level of heroic you would expect me to achieve?
What do you think about Soloing Outland heroics, Genius or folly. How have your own attempts (If you made any) Gone

sounds like a good idea, but how fast are your runs though?

On my average HC Sethekk Halls run, i can easilly earn about 50-60G, and i only kill the 2+1 bosses and the trash in Anzus room... the instance is not really easy though, if i slack it, the trash can easilly pwn me. My gear is fairly good though, so i dont know how hard it would be for someone with lower lvl stuff... oh and one run lasts for about 15~20 minutes, less when i decide to skip the first or the final boss.
If i could give advice to someone who wants to go solo outland HCs, id say to watch out really. People who are level 80 sometimes tend to be a little foolish when they approach a lower level content, and they think they can just zerg everything. That doesnt work really. And the second thing would be... do not underestimate the monsters abilities. In Sethekk halls, one group of the Arrakoa trash can give me some beating. I can survive two groups at max, but barely, blowing most of my cooldowns, so i try to avoid that as much as possible. And what can really mess my instance run up is the Fear the monsters like to use so much. So, look what the monsters are using, and try to avoid it as much as possible.

And don't expect to be able to solo BM. It's too fast(tried it, gave up after I used all my CD's).
PS- 910 resil is WAY too much for a feral druid. You lack some major burst in a PvP scenario. Look at my armory. I have loads of survivability and no problems taking on a lot of 2k rated teams. Oh, and get 4% hit rating minimum.

is this really more efficient than dailies or farming high-value items and posting them on the auction house?

Not really. In fact, some of the higher level non-heroics can be done faster and make the same cash (Normal Shadow Labyrinth is a great farming place for solo). Heroics have the potential to make more, usually in coin drops, but it's easy to make those take too long.

I haven't fooled around much with arena yet, this being my first season. I tend to like BG's more than Arena Competition, though how much burst would I be losing If I

to obtain resilience even to the cap ~1354

One VERY good reason to farm normal lvl 66+ instances (and even heroics) of Outland is for the green item drops if you happen to be an enchanter. The mats sell VERY well on AH (2-3g per dust, 4-5g per shard & 10-12g per essence on my server). So besides the gold from drops and vendoring trash, one can make money out of potions / cloth / green items (enchanting mats if possible) posted on AH as well. Also the blue items that drop (especially weapons of all types) can be vendored for a pretty nice amount of gold - for instance
Greatsword of Forlorn Visions
from Warp Splinter in botanica sells for close to 11g on vendor.
I solo Outland lvl 70 dungeons in my DPS gear and tank spec for best dodge (with MotW / agility food / agility elixir, I can reach close to 1350 agility). I use my
Tanking Weapon
and the
Essence
+
DMC:G
trinket combo. Having 40% passive dodge, a close to 10% chance to be missed due to level difference, more than 6000 AP (1500 shield from Savage Defense) and ~48% crit, I can make quick work of those dungeons for fast and fun money.

Have you tried the Northrend normals, yet? I didn't expect it to work, but I found out I can solo them the other day. Haven't gone above the 73-74 instances yet, but the ones below are easy peasy. Full absorbs from SD are fun.

And how exactly do you solo The first boss in Utgarde Keep? His Frost Tomb is problematic I suppose O_o

Well, it breaks on damage or time, right? :).

It breaks on damage done to the tomb. The mobs presumably hit you instead of the tomb, so you have to suffer through 20s of getting beat upon by mobs + boss + 8000 dmg from the Frost Tomb itself (if how it's described on the boss page is how it actually works).
Quite tough in normal already (maybe if you can predict it and use trinket) and impossible in heroic mode i guess (also it's not resistable in heroic mode).

said he hasn't gone above the 73-74 instances yet, so I assume he soloed UK. So

, gief screenie of you killing first boss there + method and I shall be thankful :>
I stick to outland heroics => they net me ~150g per 20 minute run from gold drops + trash (sold to vendors) + dust / shards / void crystals (sold on AH) + cloth (sold on AH).

I'll see what I can do :).
