My most retarded moment?
For me, it was last night in ToC 25, I thought I was winning the bid for a good chestpiece, see it count down to 1 with my bid supposedly being the highest....only to see it get looted to the other priest. I blink a few times, before asking "Wtf?"
Turns out I had the guy on ignore somehow, and could not see his bid. Even worse, he had bid all his DKP, and if I had bid just 5 more, I would have won xP

WoW has always been a pretty player-friendly game. However, there's always also been little things Blizzard could improve, like not being able to fly across Dalaran and having to circle that bigass floating island.
Sometimes they do fix some of those things.
A couple weeks after the 3.2 patch - when passing over Dalaran on flymounts became possible - I flew up to the uppermost balcony of the top spire of the Violet Citadel with my druid main to admire the view. Afterwards I thought I'd just jump over the rail, shift into crowform and fly down to the city street level and continue going about my business.
Except you can't shift into flyform above dalaran, even in this patch...
That was a 12g repair bill I really could have done without, lol.

The story about Palâ and how he got pwnd
This was when i was a freshly dinged lvl 80, complete with lvl 76 blues and all that. My friend were quite exited since this was my first toon to lvl 80 (I lvled all the way from 50 to 80 when they released wotlk) and they thought it was a good idea that we went to OS 10man. Even better, they felt that we should do the achivement (Do OS10 with less than 9 people). So we found some good healers and tanks, me and my friends were the dps.
We get inside, and as the "PuGs" inspect my gear, they get a bit sceptical and ask me if this is my first raid. The awkward silence follows, since i'm a bit unsure what to say, then i get a /w from my friend saying: "No". So I tell them: No, not at all. Things are going great, althought i'm lacking on the dps (1500) Then, when we down the first "mini" boss (think it was vesperon) and when I loot the body, an acivement pops up. ACHIVEMENT: Emblem of Heroism (loot a Emblem of Heroism)
They all simoultaneously respond: LOL?

Here is one my other rogues can relate with.
I play a high level undead rogue as my main. I thought it would be fun to create a death knight. For some reason, I only remember that my Safe Fall, and Safe Fall glyph, are both rogue things asI hit the ground with a loud crunch and die. Every. Time. No matter which alt, every time I fall, I die.

ever tried to just look around in the area you're leveling in as noob?
anyway, I jumped from the tree in teldrassil. the worst thing was, my corpse got stuck half way down, making it impossible to get it.
also, not ingame, but i bought the steelseries zboard wotlk thingy, only to find out i needed something to place it in <.<

I'm a real button user, I rarely click on spells to cast them. So I was healing on my resto druid and Decurse is on F4. Self-targeting is holding down alt.
Needless to say trying to decurse myself has caused a few wipes.

Hmmm... I have alot of these moments where I randomly die or do something stupid often! My favorite one that I still laugh about to this day would have to be the time I was in Nagrand.
I was on my Night Elf Druid and I had just soloed this HUGE elemental at the ogre village and I fell off the cliff! I landed with 1 health and was about to heal when that freaking black owl came and smacked the crap out of me! I was mad yet laughing as the 6 minute timer counted down.
Also the time where I was in flight form with low health. I decided to try out a neat trick a friend told me about. I flew up and released my flight form and hit Lifebloom three times. I tried to hit flight form and a simple yet annoying sentence poped up. Cannot cast while in combat. At the time I had been in Skettis doing the dailies. Well I hadn't even noticed the STUPID giant birds had aggroed onto me and I fell to a painful death while being bitten and clawed by those owls. I was very mad and left with all those dailies abandoned. What can I say?
