Renew and Haste

Am I missing something, or does haste not affect Renew? As far as I can remember, haste used to affect the duration of HoTs and DoTs back before Wrath was released. I've never paid super close attention to Renew before, but I'm wondering how much haste actually affects it.
There is almost zero information on it on wowwiki and the EJ threads are very poor with answering this question.
From my own tests and looking at tooltips, I see no change to my Renew with the large chuck of haste that I have. Anyone have any answers or links?
Thanks!

Nope, as far as I've seen, haste no longer affects HoTs and DoTs.
It does affect channeled spells though. Sorry I can't point you to where this change was made, but stand assured that's how it works.

haste effects the speed you cast a spell, renew doesnt benefit from haste since its instant and its a hot.
True but untrue. GCD is affected by haste to a minimum of 1 second.

Haste has never affected the duration of HoTs and DoTs.
I swear I've seen it speed up the total duration of my Moonfire on my druid before, causing it to do X dmg over 14.XX seconds. Of course, they've changed so much stuff since BC that who know when I actually saw that. I thought it was at the start of Wrath.
