Okay so I have hit 80 with my retribution paladin, and this is how far my talent tree goes
click
. I still got 13 talent points left and no where to put them that would benefit my dps output. What should I do with them?

Maybe take some PvP talents, or go for Divine Sacrifice + Divine Guardian.

Ret 0/17/54
is what I use just for the heck of it. the last 7 points in the prot could literally go anywhere else. -20 Seconds on HoJ, doesnt matter in a raid, 10% increased armor, again, wont up my dps, they're just place holders for those extra points. If you wanted to have some other PvP fun with your raid spec you take those 7 points and put them into Eye for an Eye, Vindication, SoC & Divine Purpose and you could pvp with your raid spec without respeccing.
Ret 0/10/61
if you went this, no one could really say anything bad about dumping 61 points into the ret tree...where else are the points going to go?
Edited for BAD grammar.

no point in 15% intelect really
It won't give you more mana except from replenishment and divine plea, but ret paladins rely on JotW for mana regen

I switched from
Glyph of Crusader Strike
to
Glyph of Seal of Blood
and I have seen a big increase on mana regen. I still have to pot on Patchwerk about 70% into the fight (total nuking), but with our small mana pool, one mana pot refills us to ~100%.

How do you run out of mana? If the spells you are using are Judgement, CS, DS, Exorcism, Holy Wrath, and Consecration (using every single one as soon as it's off CD, while prioritizing correctly) and throwing up Divine Plea when it's off CD, you should NEVER run out of mana. I have never went OOM on my ret paladin since 3.0...you must be doing something weird...

Erm, without Seal of Command how do you expect to DPS on bosses such as Loatheb?
Your healers will hate you if you use SoB, and you will die.

Pop sacred shield on yourself, take far less damage than other DPSers. Click the link below, look at the primary spec (17/54), it's, as far as I (and EJ forums) am concerned, the best raiding spec.
Divine Sacrifice is made of awesome and win. Pop it when AoE is coming (tantarum on XT, the same Loatheb you mentioned, etc), and your healers will love you. Long time.
Also, the talented SS (on yourself in aoe heavy fights, on tank otherwise) migitates a ton, while 5/5 Divinity means your JoL healing will be giving the healers run for their money on the meters.

Looks like someone is still progressing through naxx.
9/10 paladins will cast atleast one HL during their 3 seconds of healing on loatheb.
The splash from that and JoL healing is more than enough to make your SoB recoil less than trivial.
