Am I ready for raiding or are they as crazy as I think?

Every healer is different. I started healing raids in far worse gear. And by far I mean no epics, mostly blues, still a few greens. Your gear looks satisfactory to start raids, I wouldn't exclude you from it. Disciplines is more about mitigation on your MT and setting pace than huge heals. Your spec is fine, your gear is close enough to get you by. Your Holy crit is still a slight bit low, but it'll work to start. You won't top the meters, but then again, you're disco. ;-)

I would up my crit and mana pool a little bit, getting a mace such as
this
from Nexus Heroic should help get your intellect and spell power up, as well as helping regen a bit too.
Also, Azjol-Nerub has a
wand
and a
belt
that are upgrades.
In addition, getting a
wispcloak
or a nice
deathchill cloak
crafted might be a nice upgrade.
Try to get some of the above, along with some badge rewards, if you are unsure of your gear for Naxx.
You could probably be pulled through Naxx with your gear atm though, but if you are unsure of it then go for upgrades.
You could also upgrade your necklace with either
this
from badges,
this
from Nexus HC or
this
from JC.
I would swap your TBC trinket to one from a WotLK Heroic or from badges.
Hope this helped, but if you think you can do naxx comfortably go ahead! :)

You'll be okay for Naxx25 and the like. And you might be able to limp in to a Uld25, but your heals will be weak.
Woah. To THIS I disagree. Stay out of Ulduar and anything above Naxx 25 until you've got enough gear not to be a liability to the rest of your raid.

Nah if his guild runs 7 healers then he'll be fine.
Most of the fights really only require 5 healers atm sometimes 6, unless of course we start talking hardmodes.
That's a serious liability to bring in a healer like him though
