(( You've asked for it, here comes the not-so-exciting beganing to Chapter 2!)
- Theramore’s finally in sight, wrote Nilon. Scalebander’s knowledge of the ocean has got us here in optimal time, despite some minor problems with the weather along the way, and that most of the crew was killed during the battle at Menethil Harbor. Still don’t know how we’ll be received once we dock.
- Nilon closed his journal and walked to the top deck, Lord Scalebender was at the helm, directing the helmsman on how to navigate the water ways. Because of the Naga’s actions at Menethil Harbor, only Scalebender’s offer to show the captain the quickest route to their destination – and a good sum of gold – had allowed him passage aboard the ship. From there on it had been – despite a few storms – literal smooth sailing Celen and Jason were sight-seeing from the ship’s railing.
- Nilon yelled to Scalebender, “How much longer ‘till we dock?”
- “Just a few more minutes,” replied Scalebender. “I don’t know these particular waters exactly right, but if you’ve seen one aquatic anomaly you’ve seen them all.”
- “By the way,” Nilon said, “how are you going to disguise yourself? I doubt Theramore’s citizens will just let you walk – err, slither – freely around their city.
- “Don’t worry,” Scalebender replied. “I’m always prepared.
- …
- “This is your ‘prepared?’” Nilon asked.
- “Hey,” Scalebander said, “its working, isn’t it?”
- “Nilon rolled his eyes. He had been expecting Scalebender to use some kind of spell to cloak his appearance as a human for something. Instead, all the Lord Naga had done was pile on robe after robe, hood after hood, and cloak after cloak until his appearance was completely hidden by the garments. Despite the simplicity of the disguise, though, Scalebander was right. It was working.
- They made their way to the main docks in search of a ship and crew that could take them to their next destination: the Trisfal Glades. The captain of the ship on which they had sailed to Theramore refused to put his crew in danger from the Forsaken’s – undead free of the Lich King’s rule – scouts in the area. Unfortunately, it seemed that all of the sailors in Theramore had the same opinion.
- Their latest attempt at conscripting a voyage was an Alliance privateer named Igneous Josephson. Like the other captain they had asked, Igneous had refused to assist them.
- “I’m sorry,” the privateer said, “but I just can’t risk my ship on an incursion into enemy territory. There are legal issues, and, frankly, it’s the only ship I have.”
- Nilon scowled. “Is there no one in this entire city that will help us?”
- “Not in this city,” Igneous replied, “but I do know someone who might offer his services.”
- “Where?” Nilon asked eagerly, “who is he?”
- “He’s a fellow named Sprixx Steamfuse,” Igneous said. “A Goblin in Ratchet.”
- “Goblins,” Lord Scalebander hissed, “untrustworthy and greedy creatures. However, they are a wealthy race, and for enough gold they’ll do anything.”
- Igneous’ eyes narrowed. “Your accent, it sounds like, like, a Naga!”
- “There’s an explanation for that,” Jason said. “Poor chap here war being used as a translator by a group of Naga that attacked our ship, had him since he was a child. We defeated the Naga and freed him, and he was so grateful that he pledged his loyalty to me. Unfortunately, the Naga’s accent stuck with him.
- Igneous shrugged and then walked off. When he was out of earshot Lord Scalebander hissed a warning to Jason, “Don’t let it go to your head, Human.”
- “Already has,” Jason said, grinning. Scalebender growled.
- Nilon shook his head and prayed that they wouldn’t kill each other before the day was done.

I always seem to make one stupid mistake that gets overlooked. And don't worry, the in-your-face-awsome will start with the introduction of Saurfang to my story on Page 12.
XD just kidding. But the awsome does start Page 12.

Nice story, maybe mine will be as popular as yours someday :).
I'm sure it will, mines only really that popular because it was the first story to be posted here, though.

Writer's Commentary:
- As I have said before this isn't that exciting, it just sets the stage for the tale to continue. And no, Patty, I'm not including Saurfang, it was a joke.
- On future news I have been toying with the idea of adding a fourth chapter to Light and Death, this will give me the oppertunity to add more detail and smoother progress into the story. Plus there are some events that I just think I need more room to be able to fit it.
- With Scalebender traveling alongside hero's of the Alliance trouble may happen at any moment. But when? Page 12 will show us just that!

I've said before that I want to keep lore characters out of my story, besides the occasional refference. But I have big plans for Page 12, an idea that, I hope, wont ruin everything.
I can just see you cursing at me through the computer XD
