power aura addon can be configured to tell you so and i'm sure there are others aswell.

the addon MikScrollingBattleText is the answer to almost all requests for ways to provide the player with extra information.
you can set up custom trigger for almost anything that happens in game and have test appear anywhere you like on screen with sound effects if you want.
on my DK i have triggers to show KM procs, Rime procs, bone shield dropping, HoW dropping etc etc.
