Expertise would be the next cap to aim for. Expertise prevents your attacks from being dodged or parried, which is a nice boost to dps. The parry thing is a non issue since you should be behind the mob/boss if you are dps. I'm not sure if its more beneficial to drop a ton of AP for expertise though. Right off the bat, I gemmed for hit and expertise to try and reach those caps and now I'm going to have to trade more stats for expertise due to weapon mastery being changed to the arms tree.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but working towards the caps and what I think of as the basic stats are more important than trying to obtain more advanced stats like armor pen and haste. Once you start getting gear that allows you to maintain the caps without gems, then worry about stacking hate and armor pen. This has always been my rule of thumb when gearing up. I'm not saying to completely ignore armor pen and haste at earlier gear levels but they shouldn't be your main focus until your hit and expertise caps are managed by gear alone.

Actualy, if you just gem for pure strength you'll gain the most DPS. Hitcap should come from gear, I think of titansteel helmet, destroyer and pants from heroic UK, +maybe chest and gloves from emblems(maybe thats why they made them buyable by emblems of heroism?).
I see you have 392hit. Why? The cap is lower then 200(5%).
You crit is terrible low. I realy avice you to get the emblem t7 chest. Theres also the lv78 blue crafted bracers, forgot there name but they have 50strength(or 53), hit and some crit wich you can use pretty damn wel.
Get the belt from heroic Nexus.
In short, lower that hit, gain crit, expertise wil come by raiding.
Those gloves are very subpar if you ask me. Get other weapons is the best advice I have. Claymore and f.ex. Jawbone would be realy nice to boost your expertise and crit.
I also wonder why you are the proud owner of 0 enchants...
ArP becomes better with every point you add but you also need to keep your AP, hitcap and expertisecap and keeping a crit from about 35% unbuffed. With other words, dont even try think of stacking it atm.

3286 AP, 319 hit, 24 expertise rating (6%), 29.5% crit.
Inevitable defeat for MH and the rune blade from ebon blade rep for OH.
I'd have better gear but I haven't been able to play since January due to deployment. I should be back around August. I'm just curious what I should try and do with my gear and what are some upgrades I can work towards as far as rep and heroics go and 10 man raids.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I don't want to start a new thread when my question can be answered here as well. I'm sorry if this seems rude because thats not my intent. Just trying to get some advice on what I should be gemming for and looking for as far as upgrades go. Should I try out arms dps or stick with fury considering my gear level?
PS: I haven't had a chance to change my spec either but it would most likely be:

Your gloves are fine, especially with the hit you have. They're much better than the tier gloves, which would only add MORE hit, which is about the last thing you need right now.
yea, we al know that the haste on that piece serves wonders. I mean, that entire piece of haste realy adds 0, noppes, nada.
So more hit and getting closer to expertisecap or les hit and haste, mmm...
Rather have the expertise from Heroes gloves tyvm(though I avoided them as I needed crit over hit back then, used mail gloves from VH til i got the 25patchwerk gloves)
