Strarter spells? As affliction usually i start with Coa or CoElem if target has resistances (mages palas and dudus at least are on this) - corr, fear if needed, Ua if a dispeller as an oponent or haunt if not. Keep dcoil after you have lost some life. It heals a lot now. Use hot as a last resort to get melee of you or stop a cast that will hurt.
As destro CoElem - Shadowfurry, immolate fear or oposit if you dont have time. If melee is on you try a shadowflame. It needs practice at the begining but it procs confragrate so you can do a stronger immolate - chaos bolt - incinerate. If you are going to seduce its better to not corr at all. Only if its needed to secure a vanish or as a dispell protection.

lol, lycanfire also asked this question in a separate thread in which it was assumed he meant spells that a level 1 warlock starts with.
he seemed to respond well to the answer he got there so why he thought the PvP sticky was a good place to ask is anyone's guess ^_^

Enough penetration thats needed to overcome those pesky druids partially mages, totems ayras and resistance buffs. I consider 75 penetration as the first stage. Later you can get an offhand to be penetration capped for the rest too reaching at 130 exact.
So 75 is required. Then aim for 130 with an offhand. at 3.2 spell penetration becomes more important since our pet will get 100% of our sp.
Haste? As much you are allowed to with the equip we have. If someone thinks that haste > resiliance please respond.

I reworked the character to favor more the destraction spec aka more spellpower and resiliance vs stamina. Also I need a good demo spec and reasons - tacticts to use it since it looks like it gets more fans.

The point in using VW at the start is to unstelth rogues - dudus. Devour shadows can give you the edge at te beginning + the shield is not bad. If there are no stelth at all you can summon a sucy or a puppy withouth even loosing your fast ressummon.
You say never start with vw out. Explain why.
Ill check the rest

Great Guide!
Im working my Warlock up to 80 for Destrolock PvP.
My question. At 80 im not likely going to have the greatest gear to pvp in. Has anyone writen down some quick good items that one can buy or make to get right into PvP at 80?
I know with my Druid Healer i found a quick "Auction Gear List" that i could drop some cash and i was right into raiding level gear.
If not, ill look into it and post what i found.
Thanks again for the great guide

yes you can. Look at him

Ofc I never got his rating and I dont know how he is doing it, But the general idea is to burn the other team.

Question:
Ive been going over a lot of pvp arena guys gear and i noticed the Destruction guys are using the +16 Crit gems in Yellow, 19 SP in Red and Stamina in blue.
Now with 3.2 out they might be switching to Resilience in Blue...
Thoughts on this?
