Marksman Hunters don't get the 2/4% crit bonus to Explosive Shot, so it's only to Arcane and Steady shot.

Basically +3-4% of total DPS versus 4% increased chance to crit on two shots that have a 10 second and 6 second cooldown.
Steady on 10s cooldown? Did i miss something?
Also didint point out that ranged skill criticals = Piercing shots bleed effect.

since we're talking about just the two talents and just one point in one or the other...
one point in wild quiver is an additional 4% chance to do 80% autoshot damage....whatever your total auto shot parse is at the end of a long shooting session you can think of 1 point in WQ adding just over 4% to that damage
One point in SI gives you 2% increased crit for steady and arcane...arcane crits (assuming non horrible MM spec) should be about 2.5x normal arcane shot damage and steady crits come in at 3.25x normal steady shot damage(again, assuming 3/3 piercing shots is in your spec)...thus 1 point in SI will up your overall arcane shot damage by 5% and your overall steady shot damage by 6.5%
my advice (under your stipulations) would be to go raid without specing that last point (shooting a dummy is a bad data set since you move alot in raids and get haste buff etc which effect both of these talents) and at the end of the raid, see which comes out better.
really tho, get em both, drop a point from improved steady shot (garbage talent, 0/3 ISS imo) or even improved arcane shot.
