Ok, I know a handfull of friends that are tagging accounts so they can do the buddy system and get 300% xp to lvl up. Some of my friends started on wednesday and are now lvl 60...and they can keep doing that ..then for like what is it 25 bucks transfer toon to there main account then cancel the other account. And you can do this as much as you want. I started about 3 years ago.... and Blizzard this made me quit playing wow. It took me so long to get to 70 back in the day..now to get to 80 you can say start a toon on monday and before the week is over hit 80... this is so lame.
Is anyone with me on thinking this is very lame of Blizzard?
are they all about money!

I, as a player who has an 80 main, do not enjoy sitting about for hours on end doing the exact same quests to level up more toons... RAF is a gift from the heavens.

You do know that the RaF xp bonus stops at lvl 60 right? Gl getting to lvl 80 in one week...
Why does it even bother you that other players can lvl faster than you did. Is there a reason other than jealousy?
And don't say that it's because leveling goes too fast now, because it doesn't. It's still gonna take new players a long time to get to lvl 80 (heck, it took even me 14 days /played and I was using questhelper etc..).
To even say you would quit over something like this... jeez... Your FRIENDS are lvling fast with RaF, wouldn't you want them to be 80 asap, so you can play together?
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

On my toon I spent alot of time AHing, and leveling professions in the cities, and was at level 70 for a day or two raiding before LK, I got to 80 with 11 days.

Yeah. After 60, things are fun and smooth out. There are actually occasional people to play with!
Pre 60 is just a race to level.

can the system gear you and make you learn the class for you?
No.
So its not that big of a deal.
This, and those people that simply level fast and have no gear or skill just won't get groups, so they're none of our concern.
So that's that.
Also, my captcha was pee4p
I lol'd

I invited my friend to RAF with me, and without somebody constantly boosting you through instances, it takes quite more than a few hours to get to 60.
And yes it's true, my experience from 1-60 with RAF left me with very little knowledge of my class, and a buttload of skills I did not know how to use efficiently.

Imo that is a waste of money, they bought wow, 20$ and paid 15$ for a month of game time. they also pay 25$ for every char they hit 60 with, if i were you i wouldn't be upset, i would be laughing at their stupidity
It's only $15 for WoW + 1 month game time.
So the choice is: paying $40 and cruise through the boring vanilla content in two days or don't and spend 3 times longer doing quests you don't even like. I wouldn't call them stupid..
Seriously, it's only $40, if you go out you spend that in 2 hours.

The intent here, I think, was based on the fact that WoW is still picking up new players. The RAF system exists so that they can get up to speed, to the content everyone's talking about, more quickly. Think about how many times you've heard people ask if it was too late to start playing cause they'd be so far behind? Or complained that it was taking them too long to levelwhen all their friends were spending all their time raiding. The 30 levels you can grant to the veteran account (and yes, it is 30, Blizzard fixed that (
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=25716
)), is the incentive to get you to recruit your friends, of course, but also a bonus to help ensure you spend time leveling with them (as you need to be there, with a similarly leveled alt, for them to get the bonus). All in all, this largely exists to make players happy, so I don't think it's lame at all.
