If you don't have threat issues but you do have mana, switch to Seal of Wisdom. Ideally, if you outgear something, you will be able to hold aggro with this seal, and if you don't outgear something, hopefully you won't have have to use it to keep your mana up anyways.

Have more mobs on you - if you take more damage that means you're getting healed more and benefiting more from SA.
Don't use Consecrate on less than 3 mobs unless you're really low on threat.

If you're having huge mana problems, toss in the Glyph of Spiritual Attunement. That only helps if you're taking damage, however.
It sounds like you may be outgearing the content you're running, which means you're taking less damage and thus getting less manage back through SA. You could try tanking using SoB/SotM, which would up your mana output but could also cause your healer to get annoyed with you.
If you're off-tanking, burn Divine Sacrifice and use Hand of Sacrifice on the main tank, as long it won't put you in danger of dying; telling the healer beforehand is a good idea.
If you have any gear that gives avoidance but not defense like
Keystone Great-Ring
, swap it out in situations where you outgear the enemy; this will lead to you taking more hits but still remaining uncrittable.
Finally, I prefer running with 2/2 GbtL; by chain pulling, you not only speed up your runs but I am also able to keep Divine Plea up almost constantly.

I dont understand how people can say that outgearing content will leave you mana starved.
If you do believe in this you should respec and get BoSanc.
Some napkin math:
BoSanc will give you 2% maximum mana each time you block, parry or dodge an attack.
Assuming about 5k mana that's 100 mana each "proc"
Lets say you have 4 mobs attacking you. That's 2 strikes every second.
And if you're block capped (outgearing heroics) you will be getting 1000 Mp5 (200 each second) through BoSanc.
If we instead say you're not outgearing the content and instead taking perhaps 2000 DTPS from these 4 mobs.
That's 200 mana gained from SA every second and finally 1000 Mp5 just like when you were overgearing. And this is with the rare ocassion that you have 2/2 SA. With 1/2 you'll only get half the mana back compared to if you were overgeared for the content. Sure you're going to get some Mp5 from BoSanc now as well but if you're taking 2000 DTPS from 4 mobs that's not going to be alot of mana.
And if you're overgearing the content why on earth are you spending that much mana?
Edit:
Always pull more mobs. When the healer/you die you can think about taking it easy for two seconds.

I'm holy/ret so I don't know much about prot pally.
But isn't
Guarded by the Light
enough to get prot pally the mana they need?
Or maybe, do you happen to cast every spell whenever their cooldown is up even though you have enough aggro?
This ^^ Keep Divine Plea up and you'll never have mana problems.
