A modified 'quest helper'?

Alright, I use Quest Helper, and things like the Ackis Recipe List...
And something occurred to me: Has anyone ever made a UI add-on to track quests in a zone that you haven't done? I figured it'd be a good way to go into a zone, click a button and have the zone scanned for all the quests you can take at your current level, perhaps a sublist of upcoming quests, or a button for the entire list, and the list could include the quest titles for the zone, and who to go to at what level for each quest.
It'd be handy for those folks going after the 'Loremaster' achievements, at least, and the completists (like myself) would probably adore such an add-on.
Anyone else intrigued by the idea?

The Cartographer plugin QuestInfo does the "show quests in this zone" feature. It's also less dependent on individuals sending the author a file as it gathers all the info from here (Wowhead).
Edit: Which means since you already use the Wowhead Client to upload information that you gather while playing you're already helping in making QuestInfo better and you're not even using it yet.

Wow, thanks septor! I never knew about Cartographer! I've downloaded it, and as soon as maintenance is done, I'm gonna jump in and test it out.

Problem is, you can not query the server for quests you have completed and quests you have not.
You still have to fly/ride around looking to see if quest givers have something for you.

As long as you always play the game with whatever addon does the tracking active and it watches you start and finish the quests, it can assume that whatever it HASN'T seen, you HAVEN'T done. Outside of that, there's no API to determine what quests your character has completed.

This is why the
leveling guides james
makes are better.
