How's
this for a post-3.0.8 arcane build, bearing in mind the changes to Evocation and Elemental Precision? The last two points could go in Magic Attunement, Prismatic Cloak, Magic Absorption, whatever.
The rotation for this build would be: ABx3, Abr, repeat. MB on proc, starting the rotation from the beginning. So for example, you cast 2 ABs and MB procs, you cast MB and go back to casting AB 3 times.
This is a burn rotation, so you would go OOM fast. When you go OOM, hit Icy Veins (for the faster cast speed and pushback protection), and cast Evocation. IV will get Evo to 6.4 seconds (or lower with haste). This rotation also demands the use of mana gems ASAP.
Right now I can see two problems with this: going OOM before Evo or Mana gems are off CD, and Evo being interrupted. Both would force you to drink a pot.
Any thoughts?
FYI: I haven't tried this out on the PTR yet, but will do so tonight and report back.

yes, this rotation cannot be sustained for 2 minutes, hence, your Evocation will not be up.
You'd need another, more efficient rotation to go with it.
