About DK Race for Horde...

My Death Knight is level 71 now, but I'm getting tired of looking at my character. It's undead which I thought would be cool. Turns out it's not as cool as I thought. Now I'm just wondering what your opinion would be on if I should remake the character or not? Yea I'd rather not do it again, but looking at my character just makes me want to re roll.

I myself have actually quit characters because of the looks.
I for some reason decided Dwarves were cool somewhere along the line... In short my priest, hunter and warrior are all dead to me.
Now I play an Orc DK and a BE mage.
Looks do mean a lot to me seeing as I need to stare at the toons arse for hours on end... Personally the Undead annoy me to death, the bones showing through and the horrible run animation drive me battey.
You do get a lot of the people who just go for racials, which don't get me wrong, but they don't mean sh*t if your unhappy with the way your toon looks.
I'd say think it through, and decide if being Undead is horrible enough to go through the 3 or so day grind to 71 to do it all over again. You may also really regret it once it's all said and done, I did when I deleted my 62 Tauren Shaman for no appearent reason other than I got tired of looking it. Mind you I was rather drunk at the time but still...

I would do it now rather then wait till your 80 and geared and decide to stop playing it because you hate looking at it. especially if you plan on it being your main. if its an alt don't sweat it as much, but still consider it.
My suggestion is Orc, which may be biased but w/e.
Not only do they look so damn sexy in plate (and in general), but all their racials are good for a DK.

I'm not really worried about the animations because I'm generally not looking at my character when I'm fighting. I'm usually looking at my runes or the monsters health/diseases. I hate trolls so no way I'll play them. Tauren are cool, but I dislike the feet graphics. So I'm either going to be Orc or Blood Elf. I'd be alliance side but all my friends love horde so I'm stuck with those two choices.

Most of us who care about racials don't care about looks. If the racials are good for the class, we'll warm up to the looks. For example, I used to hate how trolls looked, but now I'm starting to like them. It has nothing to do with their looks, just the interesting combination of

Bliz can restore deleted characters, within a certain timeframe (like a year or three, relatively long). They don't actually delete it from their database and can bring it back. Just ask a GM or call the support line.
Make a new one, and play it till the end of your starting zone for the DK's. See what you think, and go from there. If you dont like the way it looks then it takes away from how much you enjoy playing.
This. Just finish the DK quest series and get the full starter gear. That set looks so good it will give you a really good idea of what any race will look like in lvl 80 gear.
