If I were you I would get rid of a little haste and replace it with some more hit/crit.
no. hit > haste > crit.
cap hit then haste. don't do crit.
...two of which will be cast sequence macros.
no. /castsequence = bad
play without them and be a better player.
...Cast sequence macro1: Corrup, CoA, Ua, Haunt, Immo, SL
UA and immo should always be cast together.
best rotation:
SB > haunt > Corr > UA > immo > CoA > SL > SB > haunt > refresh as necessary
-corruption lasts 18 seconds not 15. immo and UA last 15 seconds.
-never let haunt "fall off" always refresh as soon as the cooldown is up.
While it may not be the absolute optimum for maximizing dps it doesn't matter because its so simple.
there may be some truth for this but if you really find the optimal rotation that hard then perhaps a simpler spec would suit better.
...I know for fact that I'm the top dps on my entire server. You may not get your dps as high as mine because I'm am very very good at this game but I have taught this cast rotation to several warlocks on my server and it brought their dps up by a lot

SiLi should be in every affliction lock's rotation. it should also be glyphed.

Even if I cast 5 life tap (which i'm not, most of the time 2 are enough) i won't be a strain on the healers, i'm getting a lot of heal & overheal in raid 25 from paladins or other classes.
Little and often with Life Tap, any time you're at full health you're wasting the healing that Siphon Life and Fel Armor would be giving you.

i think that what wasn't out-right incorrect was misleading or bad advice.
you don't achieve "top dps on my entire server" by thinking that corruption ticks for 15 seconds and using cast sequence macros.

Our primary source of DPS is shadow bolt.
For an affliction lock, SB is the filler when they are not casting a DOT. And once the boss health drops below 25% it is dropped completely in favor of Drain Soul
Crit is not useless!
I've been replacing small amount of haste by crit, and I just think it's easier to play.
It is not useless. In general it is less useful than crit. In specific because of DR there places where more crit will be better than more haste.
hit > SP > haste > crit is the general rule for affliction gear.
