surfadas, you're a little wayward with your spec and thinking.
build:
soul siphon makes DS spam after 25% a clear winner
imp DS really helps with threat
nightfall isn't a big enough benefit for the TPs. nor is the glyph. leave nightfall for the PvPers
shadow embrace is good, max it
eradication gives diminishing returns. the third point is worth FAR less than the first. 1 point is great. 2 points is ok. 3 points is wasteful
other stuff:
your thinking on hit capping is in the right area but the details are way off. aff consists of a couple of instants but two major 2 second casts, and SB at 2.5seconds. destro will mostly be spamming a 2.25 second cast.
meanwhile the DPCT of most aff spells is far higher than that of the destro spells meaning that losing a GCD to a missed spell actually does very similar harm to either spec.
it used to be the case that aff fared much better with low hit ratings but that was mostly due to the existance of suppression and the lack of a destro +hit talent.
crit on gear isn't such an issue these days. you can get 21% from talents and raid buffs make a huge difference these days.
haste procs from eradication don't favour SBs that much. you shouldn't let DoTs fall off just because eradication procced.
T7 procs only effect your _next_ SB or incinerate so, again, don't change your rotation to accommodate the proc.

A better build for you would be
This
Use Curse of shadows it adds alot of damage especially if theres another lock/mage with you

curse of shadows? did you post this message from the past?
also, the thread title is "Affliction DPS Advice" and aff/demo does not make a DPS spec.

i think you've misunderstood pretty much all my points.
of course you need DoTs and SBs. all affliction locks do.
you SHOULD refresh your DoTs when eradication procs. eradication helps your DoT casts too, even instant ones. you will lose DPS if you let them fall of while gaining really very little spamming SBs instead. eradication doesn't improve SB's DPCT _that_ much.
SL should be up on every boss fight. it's better DPCT than SB.

if you're using CoE (not something i do much any more cos in a 5 man CoA is better and in a raid i've always been with an unholy DK and/or moonkin) then you should put that up first then haunt and SB. this gets all your buffs in place before you doTs start ticking.
