A thread on some troublesome classes for balance druids.
What I've gathered is that you need at least one or two cooldowns. A trinket goes a long way in this regard. Don't trinket the Cheap Shot, wait for the Kidney Shot, or even possibly the Blind if they go for that. Like Helkyte said, you can use Barkskin while stunned. Use it as soon as you can. A lot of pvp rogues are Mutilate spec and use the Glyph of Backstab giving them tremendous burst damage, so negating that is crucial.
Once you're free, cast Abolish Poison and then Regrowth followed by Nourish. Abolish Poison is also crucial, because most will use Wound Poison (cutting your heals in half), Crippling Poison (cutting your movement speed), or Mind-Numbing Poison (increasing the time to cast). If spec'd properly, they might have all three rolling by the time you get out.
If you have a chance and you see them Vanish, use Typhoon, a great way to knock them out of stealth. If you can get off a roots, run and start casting something else, be ready to cyclone. During your CC, get some distance, it is your friend. We've got a fair few tools to dispatch of rogues, you have to be careful though. If they CloS, switch to Bear Form and Bash, followed by switching to Cat and Rake (to bleed them) and then Dash out of range.
Be mindful of your trinkets. The Offering of Sacrifice is a good boost of armor in addition to a Last Stand-type use effect if you need to survive a bit better. The +111 stamina from Heroic Azjol-Nerub I've used to decent effect as well. You can get a lot of spell power and such out of trinkets, but what good are they if you aren't surviving?
Last piece of advice, stay with a friend. Rogues specialize in one-on-one and will often win if they catch you unprepared and alone, so keep a friend around. If they try the sap-one-gank-the-other, wait for him to open up on the cheap shot and the sapped person should trinket and immediately try to CC the rogue. He has Blind, Vanish, and Sprint to help reset his chances. In pvping with a warrior friend, I got sapped and he got started on. We waited until Kidney Shot to both simultaneously trinket, the warrior stunning/slowing him (War Stomp/Hamstring) while I dotted/rooted him.

Sadly, it depends on gear levels. If you're starting Naxx and the rogue has cleared heroic naxx, you're in for some troubles, hence why I suggest adding some surviability (like the trinkets suggested or perhaps +stamina patches over spell power) over raw muscle.
Another idea is using Nature's Grasp as often as possible. With a 45s duration and a 60s cd, you're covered 3/4 of the time. You can try centering Hurricane on yourself too or throw a Hurricane behind where you were standing if you fear for being targeted by a rogue.
I find myself not always dead by the first paragraph. Often times I'll be free with 2-5k health left, so I'm trying to learn to make the most out of my abilities. We're not arcane mages, ret paladins, death knights, or rogues where you can faceroll your keyboard and obtain a 3:1 kill-to-death ratio, we just have to be quick, clever, and inventive with our abilities.

7-8K *backstab* crit?
Moonkin Form grants 370% more armor from items, so I wonder how a Rogue can crit 7-8k on a *normal* melee ability? That would hit like 15K on a mage ..?
I have a hard time versus Rogues that gets the "first strike" (obv. stealthed), but they're easy to beat on distance. - So you should focus a lot of staying off distance. Abilities like Cyclone, Bash, Entangle Roots may be very useful.
A good hint as a Druid is the popular combo; Bash -> Cyclone -> HoTs on you -> Travel Form.
You should also remember to use Abolish Poison when your out of form, or if you can before battle.
But since you play BG, it's rare that you even can use any of this; You'll just get ganged by doing a long combo etc.
I'd say the best advice I can give a BG-Boomkin, would be:
- Never walk alone
- If the Rogue attacks you; Try to survive instead of kill. A Rogue may try to Sap your teamate to take you alone - avoid that by the combo.
Just remember that in BG, a lot reliese on survival gear, luck and teamwork. It's very rare that you'll get a 1v1 in BG, without any interrupt.

My main is a rogue
on 1vs1 Faerie Fire will force him to use his cloak earlier if he want to restealth
if he have already used his cloak, keep Faerie Fire on him.
he will not be able to restealth and this is very important.
if he restealth, the stunt lock rotation will continue
Cheap shot, kidneyshot, gouge/blind run, stealth --> Cheap shot etc...
Most rogue will panic with FF on, they will try to nuke you so kite it and nuke it
:D
