Alchemy Discoveries at 600

Hello, I just have a question for other alchemists out there. I don't have all the potions yet and have been making loads of flasks and gem transmutes with no new discoveries.
I know while leveling alchemy discoveries occurred ridiculously fast even when the skill was yellow but what about at 600? Can you only discover things from
Transmute: Living Steel
and
Potion of Luck
or am I just incredibly unlucky?

You could be incredibly unlucky.
A buddy got stuck trying to discover the Desecrated Oil recipe, and just had to keep making random potions/flasks/transmutes until he got it. Said it took him a further 3-4 days of random combining til he got it.
On the other hand, I had the opposite problem, I discovered my last recipe as I hit 600. I kind of feel cheated, all that's left is transmutes.
