Kind of a nub when it comes to this, but what would be better for a ret/prot pally? Or is it even worth it now?

At this point there is no utility to pick either. Since once you it 68, provided you aren't already past that point, you are heading to Northrend and will being focusing on the rep items there.
If you are a horde paladin stick with the Scyers. And if your are an alliance paladin, go with the Scyers so you don't have to fight that pesky Aldor elevator boss.
