So, just wondering, is there an explanation for this anywhere? Despite the trolling and conspiracy theories, he has some good posts too every now and then.

Just trying to keep you guys honest. If he was banned for something, I get that, but as always, it's courtesy for moderators to acknowledge it in the banned thread. Also, removing all comments / topics from viewing is a bit heavy handed.

Thank the gods for that small favor. And seeing as he was going after a Mod, only a blind man wouldn't have seen the obvious ban that was coming for him....which, Aestu was....

It's worth noting though that conspiracy theories aren't against the forum rules. It's not vulgar, obscene or otherwise inappropriate. It's not trolling (technically), as it's not being done with the sole intention of derailing or making fun of others.Agreed...but when the conspiracy is all in someone's head, and they then drag their conspiracy idiocy across every single thread they post in....it get's old and fast. And he might not have been 'trying' to derail the threads with the stupidity...but he wasn't trying very hard to keep it on topic.

Point of example; he followed the new mob into the 'Hardest Class in College' thread, with the sole purpose of attacking them there; he didn't say a thing about the thread, didn't leave a comment about which class is hard, he was only there to continue his 'imagined' vendetta, because Ashelia had the 'gall' to disagree with his thoughts and feelings about the great big change to the Winterspring Mount grind; the same thing he has been attacking people for all through out that thread for the last few days.

Sure, he might have had a point....but Aestu has since descended into madness and really should have been gone a long while ago.

Oh, I didn't see any other attacks. Was there another thread where he attacked Ashelia somewhere? The 'hardest class in college' thread was the one I noticed, because I was replying to him when his posts disappeared.

Started in the Winterspring mount thread, then from there I think he was going around to every topic that Ashelia had posted in, asking the same question, and spreading his conspiracy around.

Common sense will always trump any rule. If someone keeps being disruptive to the community for long, even after they've been warned several times, then it's only logical to think that they'll get in trouble. Any thread he posted in resulted in a flame shortly after.

That's up to interpretation.. I wouldn't really consider most of his posts as appropriate.

Although he went about it the wrong way, it is a legitimate question that he was asking to some extent - is the new CM an ex (or current) Blizzard employee?

No, she is not, she never was, and she wasn't the one who banned Aestu.

This will conclude all further discussion regarding Aestu; if any you of you guys have further questions or concerns you are welcome to email but do not open another thread on the matter. Thanks =)
