Honestly, i dont think a 3 min cd (PoM-Pyro) is worth it to give up the WE, Deep Freeze, and to a lesser extent Brain Freeze. Besides, your Deep freeze gives you just about as much burst (5K FB + 2.5K icelance crit), with more control and a shorter cooldown. Your slows will also be less powerfull (20% less), and your spells will cost a lot of mana with your spec.

I'd rather go 20/0/51 for PvP (torment the weak + DF). 12% extra damage is a lot, and while in frost you'll likely have your target slowed most of the time anyway. And I can't repeat this often enough, but a ranged FN is godlike, especially in conjuction with a shatter combo (freeze the target just before you're done casting frostbolt + icelance -> they wont be able to trinket, dispell etc, so its great damage ^^

I´m probably going to spec http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=ofcbf0McZZAI0uobu0fdTfot at lvl 80. It has a 36 yard silence, 80 resist, extra armour (not the best talent in arcane, could be replaced by Clearcasting, but i'd rather have extra defense than extra efficiency), dispell resistance for FoF and Brain Freeze, and extra hit for your very important spells such as CS and sheep.

Furthermore you have the most usefull frost talents in the tree. I've skipped Improved WE in order to get Torment the Weak. You can trade some points in Arctic Winds to Piercing ice, but as i said, I'd rather have some more defence than some more offence (a dead mage can't deal damage).

The rest of the frost tree is more or less fixed, because almost every other talent i used is a lot more usefull (in PvP) than the ones i didn't use.

Am I in to something!
