Am I the only one who has this happen with Def?

Ok, so after I got my new T7 Hands, I gemmed them with a +8 Def and +12 Stam. I drop from 543, to 542 Defense (my old ones had a bit more Def), but I was fine with that. Ohh, I realise, a chance to activate my Meta! So I drop my +24 Stam and replace it with a +8 Dodge Rating and +12 Stam to active my +32 Stam/2% Armor Meta. I look at my stat sheet, and suddenly I'm at 439 Def? I relog, and I'm back at 542.

I didn't loose any socket bonuses or anything..but I still lost 3 Def from doing absolutly nothing, then got it back. Anyone else get this?

Several times I've found that equiping or changing an item doesn't have the intended effect. Usually it comes down to the various buffs being on a timer (like Frost Presence or Bladed Armour) and it takes time for the stats to settle down.

Making lots and lots of rapid changes tends to confuse things and can sometimes cause them to glitch completely.

Am I the only one who has this happen with Def?
