Im currently using an affliction spec, and was wondering how much +to hit is best in pvp without becoming overkill?

Like Darkk said for pvp you only need 4% more hit to reach the cap. So the most spell hit rating you will ever need is 50.4. After that you should get spell penetration to reduce your target's resistance to your spells. But make sure your not sacrificing your spell damage for either of these stats.

3 * 12.7 =38.1 Hit Rating to cap at 99% (70 v 70).

202 in PvE.
