FMA:B is like a remake. It's longer, and follows more closely to the manga (the original had an ending created by the animations company rather than the mangaka. It's also better. A

This sounds rather... bad...
The most immediate and direct effect of the law will almost certainly be to see ecchi manga such as To Love-Ru, bishoujo titles such as Champion Red and most BL manga, as well as any seinen manga with especially mature themes, banned from general sales – presumably most will then be cancelled due to a lack of suitable magazine or tankobon distribution channels, with a few perhaps being resurrected as 18+ ero-manga.

I have a problem; as I have the next few days off, and nothing but WoW to do, I intend to rewatch the entire Digimon series.

I never got hugely into Digimon. I think, because of my age at the time (and the fact that I never REALLY watched it) I just assumed it was a ripoff of Pokemon, and disregarded it. Not that I watched Pokemon all that much either, but I enjoyed the games.

I love Digimon, can't help it. Also, I have all the games heh.
Edit: Honestly though, Digimon always had the better TV Show then Pokemon; they had actual season, with an over all villain, and in the case of the first two seasons the main villain was the same heh. Third season got a lot more...mature, and the final enemy, the D-Reaper, was based on Lovecraft's mythos, with the J-Reaper being the most f-ed up thing I've ever seen heh.
The Fourth season introduced a new way of digivolving called the Spirit evolution where the kids turned into Digimon, and the fights there were a lot more vicious then the original three seasons, with the kids actually have the wounds on their bodies when they de-digvolved back to normal....and the ending, with the epic curb stomps from Lucemon Chaos Mode and the final battle against Dragon mode was awesome.
The Fifth season again, changed the format, and yes, the super punch of doom of Marcus was a bit much, but the introduction of the Royal Knights and the Yggadsril was well done, as well as the Demon Lords, and the horrible death of Kurata.../shiver
The Sixth season is shaping up well, with more of the Demon lords appearing heh.
And the 9 movies are well done, a few actually tying into the series, unlike the Pokemon ones which are just stand alone to the over all series....plus you know, for the 6 season and 9 movies to the 13 seasons and 13 movies of Pokemon.....and countless specials.....blargh, Pokemon the tv series needs to stop lol.

I wouldn't mind checking it out, out of principle. Like I said, I don't have anything explicitly against it at all -- I just dismissed it as a clone and never bothered. I wasn't very wise back then, needless to say. =P

Heh, if you can, try to get the subbed version; the dubbed isn't horrible, but the original Japanese one is the better version of them.
