Right now, I'm Combat swords with the 7/51/13 spec. I heard something about it does 100 more DPS than the 5/51/15. But anyway, I think I'm doing something wrong. I know I'm relying on Borean Armor Kits (much too lazy for Heavy Boreans too), but I haven't had the time to get enchants. I'll probably get them soon when my friend logs on (he's on vacation). At least I have Icescale on my leggings and the AP Fur Lining on bracers!

I got everything I could from the Pre-Heroics & Raid gear guide.

In instances, my basic rotation on bosses (and high HP mobs), my rotation is this -

(Garrote) -> Slice and Dice -> SS x5 -> Rupture -> Sinister Strike -> Repeat from SnD

And sometimes I just don't stealth and use Sinister Strike.

I don't know if it's my rotation, but my DPS (I use Recount), it's usually 1200-1400+ (which I think is horrible). And on the Heroic training dummy, my DPS is 700-800. I've been considering using the 51/13/7 to see if I would do higher DPS, but I only have 1 LPC (I want a second) at the moment and I'm pretty poor (494g -.-;;). Though, I think my current stats are good for 10-man Naxx?

Lately, I've been really unmotivated to do much since I got all that gear. It's not easy for me to get into Heroics, I end up waiting forever to the point that I have a habit of looking at the LFG groups every few seconds. Though, I've been making a list of what I want from each instance so I'm not going through an instance with stuff that I don't want. Until I get what I want, I'll get onto badge farming.

Also, I use the Sinister Strike, Rupture, and SnD glyphs. I also understand I'm over the Expertise cap, but eh <_<;; I know that my gem on my neck isn't the best, but I don't want/like to use Rare gems or good enchants on (what I consider) easily replaceable stuff.

2) You need a lot more hit. Poison cap is 315.

None of that is bad.
-The poison cap is 315
-They don't even have the yellow hit cap, so yeah, they do need a lot more hit.
-Also true: you don't need to stack hit all the way to the poison hit cap.

Actually both his points were bad. You could keep up snd indefinately through 1 point (1s/5r), but I thought to call out the one that really mattered. I'd be really happy if people stopped caring about magical numbers. The only thing that changes below any hit-cap or above it is the value of hit rating. If he never passed on an upgrade, he has nothing to worry about. His stats will rise with gear-level.

I mentioned that in my 1st post too.

Anyway, how much Hit should I be aiming for then? I should also mention that with pies1 rotation, my DPS went up by ~100-200 on the Heroic Training Dummy >.>

What to aim for is a bit different than what one needs. You need 5% hit to keep from missing yellow attacks, but up to 315 hit rating to hit the poison cap. Look at it more like an upgrade is an upgrade, and take hit rating only up until 315 (anything beyond that is largely wasted).

Don't let up on ap/agi because of those, though.
