I know you cannot use Vanish when under the effect of a bleed, or it will break. So, unless a player specc for HfB, it's better to forget your Vanish button if you have a bleed debuff, am I wrong?
well u can use vanish but it will break very fast so its kinda useless :) or then u must just be fast and do ambush etc.

I do believe also that you cannot stay stealth when under the effect of a dot, like Corruption or Shadow Word: Pain. So if I understand well, a rogue must Cloak of Shadow before Vanishing in order to succeed and stay stealth, right?
Yep, or u can cloak in stealth

Now, what about poison? Maybe I'm just confused, but I believe when I was a hunter, I coudnt prevent a rogue from vanishing with Serpent Sting... Also, I I'm quite sure I read somewhere that if I fight a rogue as a rogue, it's a good thing to rupture (bleed), to make sure my opponent doesn't vanish.maeby those rogues did vanish and cloak to remove ur poison while in stealth. Most rogues cant take bleed away so... PWNED!

Do vanish removes poison? It sure doesnt say so in the tooltip. Do poisons can be dispelled with Cloak of shadow, like a magic dot or a curse? What about DK's disease mechanic? What should I know about when I can / cannot vanish in a pvp fight?
vanish does not remove anything else than MOVEMENT impairing effecs! All magics,curses,dots,diseases,paladebuffs,blaa,blaa,blaa can be removed with cloak, only thing that it wont remove is bleeds (most red square debuffs) and DK mark of blood (for some reason ::P)

I discovered in the recent patch that now if you have a dot or bleed but get PW:S or something that absorbs damage, it won't break stealth. Also a few patches ago, fall damage no longer breaks stealth.

You still have cloak and vanish binded separately right? Otherwise its stupid. What if you just want to vanish a fear/stun/charge/deathcoil? You blow 2 CDs...

Yea stabya's macro wasn't very thought out. I hate not being able to cloak Deep Wounds. Or did they fix that? I know they fixed being able to cloak Pally holy spells.
