My guild has been killing Anub every week for the last several weeks now and suddenly this week we cant kill him. Every other time, he would cast locust swarm, I would kite him around to the other side of the room and when I reached the other side, it was over, along with the silence. Suddenly, this week, we noticed the silence isn't lifting when the locust swarm is over and we dunno what we are doing differently or wrong.
Anyone else notice a difference this week? There are all kinds of issues I have been having in nax lately too. Would love some help on this major issue though.
Edited for grammar. Boy I am tired xD

The healers shouldn't be standing in range of the silence
Initially they aren't. I have been pulling him to the same spot every week and the healers have been standing in the same spot every week with no issues. The final attempt, I pulled him back against the door as far as possible. Main healer says she was throwing heals on me the entire time i was kiting him, then when I get to the doorway and the locust swarm is over, suddenly she can't cast. Funny thing is, the doorway where I pull him to is farther than any area in the path I am kiting him. How does that work?
Lastly, every source I am reading says the silence is part of the locust swarm. If locust swarm is over, the silence should be over, which has been our experience until this week. This week has been the complete opposite though. The silence isn't hitting us at all during locust swam, but instead, starts after now.

Locust Swarm - Anub'Rekhan will release a locust swarm that damages players within 30 yards around him and applies a stacking DoT that deals 875 to 1125 Nature damage every 2 sec. While the spell is active, Anub'Rekhan will move at 60% of his normal movement speed. Any players afflicted by the Locust Swarm will be
unable to use spells or attack for the DURATION of the effect
The topic I am bringing up is whether the spell has become bugged or not.

No, you're doing it wrong.
Oh, ok...so this means the silence is supposed to start after the swarm is gone and that Wowhead's data base is wrong.

The only case i've seen people silenced is when they get the Locust Swarm dot (which is a separate effect from the boss aura). The dot has a 6s duration, so it doesn't end when the aura ends. Any people getting the dot will be silenced for as long as the dot stays on them.
See the buff part of the spell here :

I don't know why/how your healers get it but that's the most probable reason. If you have a WWS showing you that they didn't take any damage from this, then you have a bug.

after you get more tanking gear, just sit in the locust swarm and be healed through it.
it's really not that much harder and if your healers can't heal you through locust swarm, you're gonna have problems on Patchwerk then
no problems on Patchwerk what-so-ever. In fact, we sometimes go to him first because I have been trying to get my shoulders for the last several weeks and they won't drop. :(
Anywho, last night we finally downed him again. Problem was that I didn't even think of was that the healer and I were on the adds for most attempts in the past and we downed him every time. This time, I tanked him and had the same healer on me and so she wasn't used to doing this part. She's a good healer, but, I had some people watch her and she was standing way too close and so I pst another healer that told me he was never silenced through the entire fight and just told him to throw me some heals at that time. He did just fine with that and we downed him without and deaths or problems.

Stop flaming!
I'm noticing similar issues in heroics as well. Spells are "latencying", and continuing, or casting later than they are supposed to. Check my "!Heroic Boss Bugs!" thread.
But on this boss, the healer should never be within range of the aoe silence. If they do get in range, they need to say so, so they can back out and another healer can help.
