Yep, new tank. There are classes with threat issues, mages, enhancement shaman, retrib. pallies, etc.. even a spriest with some unlucky crits, holy priests are not one of them.

I wouldn't waste my trinket slots on threat reduction, you should try to grab a +healing one, there's an easy-to-get one in Nagrand as a quest reward. If you believe wowhead, the threat reduction is minimal at best. The only good one is the epic raiding one that affects criticals. The talent is excellent however and the cloak enchant is the only viable one for a healer.
As for your tank, if you can, recommend s/he does a little reading in the warrior forums, official, EJ, etc.. It might be just an incorrect understanding of mechanics, poor choice of specials/rage use or itemization problem.
