would suggest you get to 70 in outland first, i know you cna do it from 68 but at lvl 70 the first mobs are a piece of cake and you will hit 80 faster.
but if you must insist i recommend this order: Howling fjord(cool q with lich king there and explorer league), Borean tundra, Dragonblight(a must bcs of the incredible story lines), then you either hit Zuldrak or grizzly hills(zul'drak troll and undead quest/grizzly you get dark iron, worgen and animal killing q), you can also head Scholar basin if you like being a hunter and some titan lore. Depending on your choice i then suggest you head to storm peak(freaking awesome q line there) and you will ding 80. Then save the best for last and enter ice crown with your flying mount!

Just doing all the quests in both starter zones (Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra) will get you to level 75 (with rested XP, probably 74 without) assuming you also run Utgarde Keep and the Nexus a couple of times.
Then go to Dragonblight and finish all quests there. By now you'll be 76 or even 77 - get your flying mount, go and explore the rest of Northrend for about 1/4 a level of XP then take your pick from Grizzly Hills, Zundrak, or Sholozar. You'll ding 80 well before you hit Storm Peaks or Icecrown so then the gold starts rolling in.
