Anybody tried a Shadow/Disc spec?

I want the additional damage of a shadow spec but have read about how discipline is the way to go so I tried to make a build for Shadow/Disc. Something like this 30/0/31. Let me know what you all think

Very nice for duels.

I'm not sure you have to go so deep in shadow. Shadowform is nice but your strength is that you can heal yourself so in my opinion I'd skip it.

I have lots of issues with this build (30/0/31).
PVE
You won't/shouldn't raid. The two most important things an spriest brings to a raid are VT and misery, you have neither in this build, much more important than IDS. You'll have trouble with aggro even in 5mans without Shadow Affinity. You'll have range problems without Shadow Reach due to Mind Flay's limited range.

PVP
Imp Inner Fire is a fairly useless PVP talent, especially with the limited # of charges (rogues eat through them).

If you're doing arenas, you most likely want 2/2 imp mana burn if you're going up the disc tree.
Mental Strength is fairly useless, spriests don't need a large mana pool if they have VT.

Divine Spirit/IDS are PVE talents. Unbreakable Will is a PVP talent.

Improved Psychic Scream and Silence are solid PVP talents but you skipped Blackout :(

I just don't know where you're going with this build. You skip key talents for PVP and PVE. You got raiding talents like 5/5 Shadow Focus, IDS and Mediation but skipped VT/Misery. Misery helps your raid, Force of Will helps only you. You also skipped the most important DPS talent that we have: Imp SW:Pain. I'm sorry, I'd recommend you try to read more about the importance of these talents.
