EP
agi=2.0
ap=1.1
attack power will give you slightly more dps but since you are leveling agi is the way to go
for the record, all gear while you are leveling is destine to become obsolete so enchanting it is rarely smart to do

Agility is better then AP until a point. I know I get an average of 38.5% crit for combat before AP gives more dps then Agi. I'm assuming Assassination builds would probably be higher.
It all relates to when raw damage begins to outweigh Glyph of SS and Focussed Attack procs.

this is a TBC mentality
due to the changes of crit scaling with agi it will no longer out dps AP

this is how i see it at the moment, most of our leather gear has both agility and attack power on it, but you would have already noticed that the attack power stat is more or less double what the agility stat is. If you are only going to do solo farming, 5mans than i would stack up on attack power cos you are going to do more damage.
However the flip side is if you are going to go raiding then
attack power doesn't
get the buff from Blessing of Kings
whereas agility does
, meaning for raiding agility enchants are better then straight attack power enchants.

err suggest u read the first post again cos he asking which is better enchant between agility and attack power, its common knowledge that if u go a straight attack power enchant that it wont stack in a raid situation with kings or gift of the wild. Whereas if you were to get a agility enchant, then the more agility you have, the more buff you get from kings and gift of the wild.
Agility gives more crit and attack power in a raid situation, meaning agility in my opinion is a better enchant for raiding. Kings can give 10% extra to your base stats, so if you have 800agility unbuffed, with kings you would get 880 agility meaning more ap and crit, if u dont have any agility and just focus on attack power enchants then attack power does not scale with kings or gift of the wild or any other buffs that increase your base stats. That is the point i was trying to make in my first post..

EP = equivalence point = attack power
The standard is 1 EP = 1 AP, so it doesn't really make sense to me how AP can have an EP greater than itself, rather it should shift the entire spectrum of other stats' EPs.

Can you reference your post please?
there dosnt have to be a 1 on an EP chart for it to work
it is alot easier to say
agi=2
ap=1.1
than
agi= 1.818181818181818181818181818....
ap=1
i was also unaware that i had to site my posts, is this wikipedia?
