Actually...
Arcane Barrage has not been a part of the standard rotation since they fixed the Arcane Missile clipping bug (if you don't know what that is, don't worry). Arcane Barrage is really only useful for movement fights.
The typical rotation at 80 is AB4+ (basically, spam AB until you have 4 stacks and a Missile Barrage proc, otherwise keep using AB). It's somewhat tough on the mana, so I'm not sure how it'll work at pre-80.
Some more mana efficient rotations include:
-Using MB procs when you have 2,3, or 4 stacks
-Using ABx4->AM regardless of proc status

Don't use ABarr after a MBAM, it's not worth it. Use it to reset the AB debuff, since it's more dps than an unbuffed AM.

AoE is only needed on trash and isnt that important.
I normally dont bother with IV and AP on trash at all.
AoE I do POM if off CD > FlameStrike Rank 9 > FlameStrike Rank 8 > Blizzard
And if u use AP than Blizzard will cost even more mana.
