Here are the stat weights taken from Elitist Jerks. What you do is multiply the stat on your item by the weight given in in the chart for your given spec (there may be some slight variations if you don't use a cookie-cutter spec) then add all those numbers you got together. Theoretically, the higher numbered item is a better choice. Like you said, stats other than weapon dps are important, but not nearly as important as the weapon's DPS itself.

It's basically as simple as this:

If you've never been in Naxx before/are low on hit, use TSD.

If Arm drops for you and you can loose the 54 hit without going below the cap, take it. Being at the hit cap > hitting slightly harder. After the hit cap, take anything that is a direct upgrade that won't drop you below the cap again.

I'm currently rocking a TSD with The Jawbone waiting in my bank. I'm sitting right on the hit cap and I need to make up the hit somewhere else before I can replace TSD.
