why is it that my ping goes through the roof when trying to play on AV bg i get disconected 20-30 times and i just cant find anything wrong my end of the line.
Anyone got any thoughts.

Something is wrong with your line.
Do a line quality test when you are having the problem and see if you have any loss packets etc.
I was using Verizon a few weeks back, and couldn't bear with disconnects every 3 seconds and 5000ms latency, I canceled the DSL and got Optimum. When I did the line quality test on Verizon I was shown that there were at least 30% packet loss on the line going through the interwebz. Maybe that could be your problem.

Cool cheers for the info.
Just seemed weird that it was only on this bg and this game that i was having problems, can play COD4 60+ player maps on highest settings.
its ok though just adds to the reasons to change my Internet provider
